Good movie but there was literally no purpose to the suit...
Remember when the hero wore the same suit all the time? Yeah me neither.

Well

He didn't have the tech suit because it was left behind. It was also an excuse to have him look like the second coming of Tony. It did have upgraded features as well.

What...

upgraded features did the Black and Red suit have? Aside from the aesthetics, the only new thing I noticed was the spider-shaped parachute. It was pretty much the same in terms of function...if not worse, since he actually runs out of web fluid.

They should have written in the script that the suit was bullet proof or something cause I did not buy the fact that not one single drone could get a shot in on him...very unrealistic. I don't care how agile Spidey is, but he's no Neo...he can't dodge thousands upon thousands of bullets. :slap

Just saw the film, I dig it for the most part. His instructions to the computer when he built the upgrade suit outlined some of his changes to the weaponized aspects of the suit in terms of voltage and control etc.

It's safe to say its resistance to being set on fire was probably a thing, and as for running out of web fluid he used a lot when initially webbing up and electrifying the first drone swarm he ran into within the illusion.

As for his agility -- it does stretch the suspension of disbelief when he's out in the open getting swarmed, but I did like how he relied on his Spidey Sense aka Peter Tingle to wreck shop in his final fight. Also a bit of a stretch, but really fun to watch.

Loved the suit in the movie

was getting a little nostalgic just like Happy did watching Peter start to make his suit playing with the holograms. Was thinking the same as someone mentioned above that maybe the extra accessory is going to be the piece he put together to use against the drones. Going to seem like an odd accessory though.

Couldn’t believe how big a role the sunglasses played either. One of my fav pairs that I have since getting them for Infinity War. Glad they’re coming with the figure too.

I was actually assuming the hidden accessory would be:

a stark drone itself. Short of us getting a mysterio figure with them.

After seeing the movie, I’m all in on this and the stealth suit. Liked it a lot more than Homecoming!

Yeah I agree. 3 out of 5 for me,which is basically where i put homecoming. Probably not in my mcu top 10. I also think mysterio is unlikely now, I just dont think it would sell well.

feel like they played a bigger part than any of the suits lol

been wanting to pick up a pair, where did you get yours from and what color lens

I got the frames from an online boutique and the lenses were custom made

Real deal or imitation frames? My cursory search for the glasses found some very expensive designer name frames. I'd like to nab them because they'd suit my face shape well.

A Stark drone would be cool but that's probably a bit more (cost-wise) than HT is willing to throw-in on a "regular" figure. It will probably be something smaller, like the pieced together bomb he used, the Black Dahlia necklace he bought for MJ or the broken drone projector that MJ found.

My guess is a scaled down drone.

Nothing else really seems worth the effort or importance to include.

Basically what ZE said below your post. Fine tuning was done to his preferences, and again he didn't have access to his red and blue which I think necessitated the suit. By the way, whatever happened to Karen?

Either I've forgotten already or nothing really stood out to me as a 'yep, that'll be the additional accessory'. It won't be Mysterio's helmet. It could be the London Tower bridge sign or a piece of a drone he uses in one scene ala Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer (respectively). It says 'accessory' not 'accessories' so only one of them I'm presuming. Or hell, it could be the drone itself but I think HT would've bumped up the price a bit more if it included that.

It's going to be the small drone piece MJ finds that reveals Mysterio's secret

My guess is that Jennifer Connelly wasn't available.

Lol eh...she's not that in-demand these days...I would say she was definitely available. I would chalk it up to the writers not wanting to be over-reliant on AI again.
