What do we think are the chances that hot toys will rerelease the slightly updated “upgraded suit” from no way home? I’m trying to decide whether to just go for the far from home one, or to wait in case they release the newer version. Do we think there is a chance that they will do a whole new release for such slight changes?
If this scene is supposed to be the continuation of the ending in FFH (judging from MJ's clothes)The only reason why I haven't gotten this FFH figure is because I'm holding out for the No Way Home version of the same suit. It's basically the same but without the black on the belt, which I prefer.
Hot Toys loves releasing as many spider-men as possible so I feel like it's gotta have a good chance, right? A low-effort re-release with minor changes, I'd preorder day 1.
I have a feeling that the slight costume change is just a retcon that is going to happen as if the suit never actually changed, because it looks like the film picks up right where FFH left off. Anyways, i broke down and got the FFH version of this suit, because I am unsure how likely it is that they will make a whole new upgraded suit figure, especially if they’re making 2 tom suits and hopefully tobey and Andrew. But if they do make an updated version, I’ll just sell the FFH one and pick up the new one with the more comic inspired belt line. We’ll just have to wait and seeIf this scene is supposed to be the continuation of the ending in FFH (judging from MJ's clothes)
When did peter get the chance to change to a different suit? cuz the black stripe is there in the FFH ending.

Awesome anniversary gift! I recently picked this guy up myself. I have to say, I'm very impressed with the head sculpt. My wife was so impressed, she doesn't want me to put the masked head sculpt on. Lolmy wife's (in advance) gift for our first wedding anniversary
Just got Spidey from Popcultcha today, he is perfect no flaws.Alright still working on posting pics on this new forum update, but here we go.
I tried my best to capture the colors of everything with just basic daylight shots and zero color editing.
The short of it is: It works pretty well on the HC DELUXE, but if you look real close the head is a bit more saturated red then the HC body.
Congrats! That's a great gift! Thanks to my lovely lady I am now a happy owner of this figure. She knew how much I liked the red&black suit and got it for my for my birthday. It looks great. A little bit of a funny wrinkle under one of the armpits but about in line with normal fabric behavior anyway. (I'm also getting a second body with some clothes to display the Peter headsculpt because I can't bring myself to drop the Spidey sculpt!)
Previously I was hesitant to drop the cash on the figure myself due to the likelihood of Hot Toys releasing a slightly modified version matching NoWayHome, but that's no longer much of a concern when it's gifted to me
I do have a question. I currently have it displayed with the web wings under the arms, which seems completely incompatible with the included stand that needs to wrap around his waist. Do I have any options here besides just leaning it against the pole?
Yeah looks good for photos (your photos are great!) but I'm figuring out how to stand him up long term. HT didn't seem to do any accounting for the wingsuit.Congrats! That's a great gift!
I left him in the flying squirrel pose for some time by basically balancing him on his stomach with the claw against his upper legs. For photos, I was also able to clip the claw to his back under his armpits behind the wings, but I don't know that I would leave him like that longterm.

Hahaha, that's too funny! I do remember posts from Blackout on the DM message board! Yeah that was like fifteen years ago and I'm still using the same damn avatarYeah looks good for photos (your photos are great!) but I'm figuring out how to stand him up long term. HT didn't seem to do any accounting for the wingsuit.
I don't currently have the between-legs web wing inserted because I'm going for the more classic armpit webs look (rather than the full wingsuit look), so I should probably just get one of those hook stands that grabs the figure underneath by the balls and use one of those to stand him up.
Related note, I had a hell of a time getting his arms and legs positioned just right to fit the wings smoothly! More finicky than I expected. Before I had the figure I actually assumed the web material would be some flexible rubber so that the magnets would hold it in place while allowing for some wiggle room. Didn't realize they would be hard plastic with zero forgiveness.
By the way, for a couple years I've seen you around here wondering why I recognize you (name/avatar) and I finally figured it out earlier today. Don Murphy messageboards a decade ago.
I don't expect you to have any recollection of me (Blackout on there) because that was a decade ago and I didnt post as much, but fun fact
I like the Peter sculpt that comes with this figure but couldn't bring myself to display Spidey maskless, so I decided to pick up an extra body and some clothes to make a plainclothes Peter figure to display alongside it.
I should have already had the clothes by now, but twice in a row sellers on ebay have taken my order and then got back to me a few days later saying they don't actually have any stock.
Hopefully the third time's the charm, in the meantime the spider-undies are a bit awkward. But less awkward than...without. Let's just say the body's listing pictures left out an important aspect of the sculpt that I was not aware of, so now this strange picture exists.
Umm...so what's going on there, why are they both laying in bed together...?
I guess the Infinity Gauntlet was NOT the only thing he gave her.
Captain Marvel: "Hi there, Peter Parker. Got something for me?"
That is so cool! Love this. May do something similar since I love the gliding feature on the Holland costumes.Congrats! That's a great gift!
