Nice comparison shot...although not sure if that's a slimmer body on the Upgraded suit...or if the black color just gives the illusion that it's slimmed down...

There definitely seems to be a taper down from the upper torso on the upgraded suit. The opposite almost seems to be true for the Homecoming costume. Never been a fan of the body used for that figure for that and also because the shoulders jut out really unnaturally...

Only if they had the NRD, that would have been the fee. No NRD is an odd move for them.

Check the right foot, the black version is rotated slightly more than the blue version, so it gives the waist a slimmer look.

So it's a $20 cancellation fee, but ONLY after you make a payment. And that's not until next year, so you can freely cancel up until the first scheduled payment. I'm really shocked they're doing it.

This looks great. Tempted, especially with no NRD. I like the Black. It hides all the things I didn't like about the blue suit, as all the black just blends in.

But I really want to hold out for the VGM Classic suit Spidey. Wanna see what, if any, new figures they show at SDCC in a couple weeks.

And most likely SS is giving less to online retailers like BBTS. So it sells out and creates demand so more people turn to Sideshow to PO.. Also why they maybe took away the NRD. A good example is IW Doc Strange. He sold out pretty quickly on BBTS too. They took forever to get him, but he is now in stock and available to buy at BBTS and SS. SS probably gave them more when they received they're large 2nd shipment. Most likely they will do the same with this Spidey.

Supply and Demand. Control the supply to increase the demand... Simple Business.

Just ordered. I have the first homecoming deluxe and I think this’ll be a good addition too. I was going to order the movie promo but I’m sure it’s nearly the same thing.

In fact I ordered this one because I like figures with secondary headsculpts mainly, not so much the black and red outfit.

Super shocked there was no NRD!!!! Woohoo. Is there a cancellation fee tho? I didn’t read that anywhere either.

Actually has me a bit scared. Does sideshow ever do this with large and reputable orders like hot toys? They make a good amount of of nrd I’m sure. Think there’s a change coming?
