I think it surprised everyone, especially since no one knew Michael Fassbender and his acting capabilities (except those who saw how awesome he was in 300 and Inglorious Basterds)

I liked him as an actor ever since "Then we will fight in the shade"

One of the best characters in Basterds as well!!

yeah well i liked him since he was a baby. i knew he was going to be HYYYYYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEEE even then, way before anyone else and all of you.

No no no no no no....watch him in Hunger.

I had seen 300 before but it wasn't until i saw 'Hunger' that i realized just what a fantastic actor Fassbender is, and he just oozes class in 'Inglorious Basterds'.

Hot Toys better preview an X-man already, with Classic Predator, Batman/Joker '89 and the Gantry and Lightcycle, the 1st quarter figures are starting to pile up.

I hope that's true. My wallet would prefer that. Sideshow has it for 4th qtr.

I'm hoping these are similar priced to Cap/Thor.

I can't see them charging too much for a Magneto in flight suit with helmet, coin and some missiles (which is most likely what we'll get)

I'd say the missles are very unlikely. But the coin and helmet are for sures, except we'll probably just get a reused Two-face coin
