FC was good, but even Fast Five was better than it.
The Rock and Vin Diesel would have taken those pesky mutants out themselves, even without their cars!
@ EF & The Josh trolling this thread. X-Men 1st Class is awesome and is the best movie of the year.

This movie bombed. Which sucks because it's awesome, far better than Thor or Cap but i think it just lacked star power and character polularity.
Anyways because it bombed Im really wondering if we will see anything ever. Then again can anyone say Sucker Punch?

We will see figures. X-men has a built in fan base, strong reviews from critics AND fans, plus there are plenty of people who want at the very least a Fassbender Magneto. It may not have done as great as people were hoping, but it has alot more going for it then movies like Sucker Punch and Watchmen which didn't do well with critics or fans, and didn't do as well financially.

agreed.it doesn't matter how much it made.grossings don't make a movie good.and this movie is fantastic.

But a good movie doesn't mean stuff will sell from it.
Terminator Salvation: meh movie but HT sold the hell out of it.

We don't all love THOR as much as you, dude.
Personally, I'd rank it 3rd or 4th in this Summer's comic films. It's either slightly better than or just behind GREEN LANTERN for me. I say X:FC is the cream of the crop, with CAP coming in second (which is a happy surprise for me because I expected that to be more Joe Johnston junk, but it may just be Marvel's best flick yet).
I like THOR, I just think it has a few issues that prevent it from being worthy of the "great" label. In fact, I don't know that I would necessarily call any of these movies great.
But that's cool. To each their own.

Not for me.
Couldn't find a babysitter for Thor so had to catch it at one of the smaller screens at the multiplex after X-Men.

Agreed, I truly enjoyed that one...fast paced movie and The Rock and Vin Diesel beating the hell out of each other was the icing on the cake

I'm not disagreeing with that but if they'll make Sucker Punch figures and expect them to sell then X-Men is a no brainer.

I love Thor and Captain America, but there's a warm place for the new FC figures as well. I hope we see them sooner than later! But honestly...there's already SO much coming out. A reveal with an early Q2 2012 release would make me happy.

Terminator Salvation figures sold well because of the built in fan base from the three previous Terminator films. Same can be said for the New Goblin, or Watchmen figures to a certain degree. Didn't matter how well the movie was, they were going to sell because of that built in fan base.
