I understand there are fans of him, but putting all of that and magneto aside, he was only a WIP at ani-com whereas Barney Ross and Charles Xavier where ready to go, is it right for waiting customers that coulsan goes up for order first?

There is no right and wrong here.
What you have is a business revealing their product in he order they choose to.
You *have to* admit that if they got advance materials from Marvel regarding the avengers movie, they must have added coulson to the mix.
I expect their sculptors would take less than a month to get a proto sculpt done and then they would likely send it to their master painter and get a mockup done.
It's only the head and the gun they had to make.
The suit is simple compared to the sculpt and the gun moulds.
So in real terms, coulson will *cost less* for them to make and bring in greater profit.
It makes sense to have Prof X on the back burner.

It was logical to assume that after the Avenger and TDKR figures, they'd finally start x-men but now they're doing side characters from them too, where does it end?

When is it XFC customers time? We do we get at least one figure?

It's not like i'm being unreasonable in impatience for the figures, it's been 18 months with nothing, while others announced aftoerwords have come and gone with figures.

They should never have said they were doing it to only forget about it and leave fans waiting for this long. This is the last line i'm waiting for, i don't pay attention to HT announcements anymore as they have no follow through for months to years at a time and it's a waste of time anticipating them

Check the dates. This thread was started in July, as was the Coulson thread. This one has 11 pages, and the Coulson one has 17 pages(YMMV as i have the forum set to display 40 posts per page, and the default is 10 posts per page i believe).
It would seem more people want to talk about Coulson.
That means nothing of course. Prof X might be a huge seller. But until HT decide to release them, we will never know. I am not sure where your sense of somehow *being wronged* comes from though. I would put the cash down today for two of Prof X as soon as he is made available for preorder, so it's not like i am less of a fan than you are. We just need to be patient.
It will be released when it's released. No use crying about it.
It just means you have more money to buy Coulson...

Thats true, but they haven't done official pics of those two yet so it seems more than likely coulsan will go up first even though those two were ready three months before coulsan.

It'd painfully funny, i remember after a year, people saying 'relax it'll be up for order just after SDCC', so much for that. HT need to take some points from Sideshow, they showed a protype of the Nathan Drake PF at the beginning of the month, there was no announcement of the license so no waiting for the reveal and to top it off there's a month date for the pre-order given.

There's no denying HT have messed up with the 1st Class figures, my only theory is that they themselves feel they've missed the boat and are re-thinking releasing them. I know it sucks for the fans and the salt in the wound is Avengers & TDK being so heavily merchandised by HT. HT seem to have changed over the years from delivering iconic characters to just pimping out whichever is the biggest movie of the year.

I gurantee they weren't all posts about the coulson figure, people discuss the license almost as much as the particular figure, and that license has more to discuss which equals more posts which equals more pages. I'm not saying Xavier would beat coulson on page count but if there was as much to talk about they'd at least be even

Actually it's a more of a case of me standing in line while many people who got in line behind me, skip ahead and walk out with their meal whie i continue to wait in line.

There isn't any other reaction but annoyance in that instance.

I was patient for a over a year, then since there was no news or figures i became impatient, then a few months later Xavier was shown my impatience subsided and i was ready to order, then another four months pas without being able to order and it comes back.

My impatience isn't unreasonable for this amount of time waiting

And as for him being a side character, that's true but he has actually been in more large-grossing movies recently than Magneto or Professor X...
I am not interested in the MKVII armour, Loki, Thor, Hulk, Fury, Captain America or hawkeye, but i will definitely be getting Coulson. He's actually an iconic guy. No super powers. Just a guy on the good guy's side, always doing his best.

Just because they tease a figure is a far cry from getting it. I am actually neutral about any X-figures being released, but just sayin'.

If you've read AvX you'll see that alot, Cap and his merry men waltz into Utopia (a nation outside their durisdiction) and demand they turn over a teenage girl so she can be protected because of course the sub-human x-men aren't capabale of protecting their own. Cyclops explains that Hope and the Phenix Force are a mutant concern that he has been dealing with for years, Cap then says a bunch if crap like 'we'll take her by force then' because he's a douche in this story.

Well, the sequel has now officially added 2 very key actors that just majorly revved up my excitement...

Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart Coming Back For ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’...

We all kinda saw that coming due to the material involved... but seeing their names officially attached is freaking awesome. I have no doubt now that Hot Toys will get the Professor and a Fassbender Magneto out there...

I'm thinking they're waiting on this (for forever :gah) because they will include a wheelchair and suit but are waiting for the sequels wheelchair design so the figure can be for both movies.
