Not really sure what they could have improved??? This is one of the nicest figures I own.

If anything....I just want them to release a Blade 1 with the same level of quality and accessories as their Blade 2 figure
Well ..a body similar to wolverines with full body tattoos .that would be the main improvement they could do,also he had 3 different styles of costume for each movie +make his weapons outa the same metal like material the goemon figures got ..and as nice as that sculpt is imo its not perfect and it could be improved.

I'd say I'm a like B2 best of the three. Maybe it's the Del Toro factor but to me it's just non-stop action and I really think more Marvel films should shoot for that....
For example, I don't need to see Mary Jane and Aunt May surprise Peter with fresh baked cookies, but I do want to see Spidey beat the ____ out of Kraven or Electro or Tarantula.
And are you into 1/6th now Jye, or have you always been? I remember you selling your PFs to make a theatre room some months ago, but now that you've been back I noticed you a lot in 1/6th threads..... ?
Damn dude.... You just want an ultimate Blade. For me, being a fan of the films but not super hardcore, it's perfect. In fact I'd still say it's the best figure I've gotten this year and that's after getting the T-800 yesterday.

Well dude 1/6 collecting is expensive as you know so i will wait for a better version of a figure if there is the potential that it could be made rather then just dish out money on the first variation of the figure there is ..im using this same logic with the t800 ..theres no denying there will be a battle damage version of that..and thats why i passed on the regular.
And the fact that im not a mega hardcore fan of blade like you makes it easier to pass on the current one and wait 4 the "Ultimate blade".

Indeed I did sell off my entire Marvel PF-Comiquette collection for my Home Theater set up which I enjoy every single night with my family vs me enjoying my statues all by my lonesome, so it was worth it.
I have now decided to jump back into collecting but only 1/6 and specifically only Marvel 1/6.
They take up less room, are poseable and provide awesome representations of their character and are also cheaper than the statues
I just now wish that I didn't go and sell my Takara Batman and HT OC Batman
But never again with statues......
I just need my first 1/6 figure so that I can update my Av and Sig

I only have one PF and that was won through a SS contest but I honestly couldn't imagine having too many of them. I get a lot more enjoyment out of being able to pick a 1/6th figure up and pose them, swap out accessories and even display them in new ways on a daily basis.
So do you have anything on order at this point? What's going to be your first purchase? I think I might skip the IM2 stuff, but I've been cutting back this year anyway.

I think its pretty tough to collect statues. For every spot I place 1 PF, I can put 10 Hot Toys figures
Plus PF boxes take up sooo much room. Also its easier to re-sell figures since they are relatively light and not prone to breakage. 1/6 for the win...

All of those reasons are also excellent.... One Detolf = 2 PFs or as many as twenty 1/6th figs, but I try not to go with more than 3 per shelf now. They look damn good when you can really see each figure.

2 or 3 figs to a shelf looks spectacular, but only if you have the extra room and shelving.
I really think it depends on how many come from a specific license and how you pose them. Sideshow figures are tougher to pose 5 figures to a shelf because of the circular stands, but Hot toys are easier to manuever because of the oval shape.
An example would be my Rocky shelf. I would hate to split up the collection. You do have to give up a little on poses, but I thin the display works at the end of the day.
Keep in mind, my photography skills are terrible. In real life, the colors don't blend into each other. But here is an example of what I am talking about...

I guess I've just gotten a little a nal over time. I really wish detolfs were about 3" wider.
These pics are from a couple of months ago but I've removed the Harvey Dent figure from the Batman shelf because it just seemed to close together for my liking and I've been thinking about scrapping one of the Jokers to give that shelf a little more room (DX stand really doesn't help), but looking at your shelves and now looking at my own pics it really doesn't look bad at all.... You have a great point about the SS stands v. HT stands too. The figure takes up the area right above a HT stand and nothing more, which is nice. SS stands on the other hand make it hard to situate the figures in a way where they can all be seen if you're putting around 5 or so on a shelf.

I think of it as packing in allot of awesomeness into a small space.
Your Dark Knight display does look awesome! I am waiting on my DX Joker stand which should arrive any day now and I will face the ultimate task.....Trying to fit the DX Joker and Batman Stands in the Detolf with 3 additional Hot toys stands
It will be a HUGE challenge, but I think it "might" be possible. I would kill for an extra 3 inches

Umm.....my first will be Batman DX02, ordered today from BBTS
WM I have on order with AEC
I'm debating picking up IM Mark IV or wait for VI
And let me add Blade 2 to that list...will have to be on Ebay though
