Trust me, paying $300 or so for this figure is definitely worth the money....and based on how cool this figure is, I don't think it is that inflated of a price either.

Of all of my figures, my wife likes this one the best and has actually told me that she would like one herself...now that tells you something!!
Actually, $300 is a bargin now. On ebay they are averaging around $400 with shipping.

Yeah, he totally seems worth it. I don't think I would mind paying that much, just based on all the pics I've seen in this thread.
It sucks, because I slacked on buying HT stuff for a while, and now I'm (literally) paying for it...
I just spent more than that to get a wolverine, and I'm really pumped to get him.

I'm playing catch up as well as I was out of the loop for almost a year...thankfully, this was the last figure I bought before going cold turkey (due to money issues).

This is also a figure where I would love to have a second one as there are so many cool accessories and clothing...I have a hard time deciding on what to pose him in/with.

as promised my daywalker pic!!!!!!!

Hmmm . . . sell a highly coveted figure that will only continue to rise in value and desirability to buy some generic characters from a franchise that was played out after the first film from 22 years ago?

Yeah . . . that makes sense. :cuckoo:

Somehow I don't see Predators figs going anywhere but up in value and if the franchise was played out, why are we all spending $180 on 1/6 figures and why did the film do relatively well?

Well "we all" aren't.

And relatively? Relative to Cutthroat Island?

I'm sure the fox-tastic studio execs will continue to wring every dime they possibly can out of the Pred franchise, but from a creative aspect it was played out after the first film. Pred chases humans, humans get slaughtered, humans fight back. Wash, rinse, repeat.
There's nothing new there. The first film was original, creepy, and the gradual reveal of the creature had a real cinematic payoff. The rest is just milking of the teats. It's all just another a-hole's opinion, but I find the Pred figures like Stormtroopers: once you've seen one, you've essentially seen them all. Color variants, different weapons & accessories, yada yada yada --- they're just repackaging the same thing to sell you over and over again. Yawn.

But Blade is nicer :naughty

Agreed. And unique. Not a clone.

Thats why I have both :)

Can't argue with logic. :lecture
