Wesley will always be Blade to me, that is probably the best casting yet in a Marvel movie.

Deleted scenes from the origianl blade movie had him see Morbius at the end of the film. ( this is on the DVD)

and this was originally intended to be the Lead-in to the sequel.

Considering comic movies are all the rage this movies was actually what set it off in a big way and what lead to what me see now in terms of Iron man and Avengers.

I read there were rumors that marvel was planning to produce a black Panther movie considering that he is a part of the avengers cartoon and well it can take the place of lower budget movies like ghost rider and dare devil

Goyer's original idea was to use Morbius as a primary villain, but Marvel decided they wanted to retain the rights to make an entirely separate franchise out of Morbius - i.e. a Morbius film, so the story was changed slightly and Jared Nomak was created to be used as the primary villain instead.
