I'm on the fence on this one...I've heard reports of the seam inside the coat arriving ripped...is it really worth it?

Plus I'm afraid they'll release a Blade 1 version which I would prefer as its my favorite of the three.

What reports? The coat on mine is fine. I just checked. As for your question of "is it really worth it?", how do you judge if a figure is worth what you paid? I think Blade is better than Wolverine and DX Batman, and both of those cost more than this one.

As for the chance of Blade 1 being made, that's always a possibility, but a slim one that won't be done for a long time, imo.
