Oh, closest to the original. I missed that. Okay, I get ya. Well, I would hop on this guy soon if you want him. The prices are sure to get out of hand soon. Good luck.

Thanks for the heads up. I was against the 20 varieties of HT preds but I've been spending some time in the show your shelves section and some of these guys have some really spectacular shelves filled with these preds.

Like I said at the time I purchased my first HT predator I was looking for something closet to the original since the P1 is so expensive and hard to find. I went with the lost pred because I thought it looked alot like it. But now kinda wish I bought this guy instead. To tell you the truth I may just bite the bullet and get this one also.

:rotflYou changed your tune. It was only the other day that you were saying Hot Toys were making too many Preds.

lol. too many awesome pics in the show your shelves section. i'll buy this guy and after that i'm finished except for characters like dutch,i need a dutch.

I actually used to have Dutch. Sold him for retail about a year or so back. Figure just didn't do much for me. I hated the rubber arms. I have Royce now, much better figure. And The T-800 serves my needs for an Arnold on my shelf.

Once you get Berserker in your hands and see him for the quality work of art he is I guarantee you that he won't be your last Predator figure. Let's see your shelf this time next year:lol

Just got my Berzerker in today from BBTS. He is awesome. Even without the swivel joint at the bicept, chest arituclation, and limited ankle articulation he is amazing. I like him just as much as any other Predators I own.

I really like the attention to sculpted and painted detail on him. It makes up for the lack of articulation, and I swear if HT could find some way to improve upon this mold and add the missing articulation, future Preds would be even more amazing than they already have been. I really don't mind the lack of accessories either. I could see a person being kind of bummed if this was their first Pred but since I have others, letting him borrow some weapons is not a problem. Guardian/Predator 2's kombi stick fits in Berzerker's left (skull holding) hand just fine.

I was surprised that the lack of ankle articulation is a far bigger deal than the lack of torso articulation. The ball-jointed waist grants you lots of options, but the unbendable ankles really gets in the way of some otherwise dynamic poses he could achieve. On the flip side though, it is nice that he stands up so well on his own without the stand.

Light up feature doesn't work on mine. Battery is in correctly, wire connected correctly, switched on, and nothing. Damn it.

Make sure the metal tab the battery sits on is lifted up high enough to make contact. Mine worked just fine out of the box but another dude said that's what fixed his.

Royce for me would just be an expensive accessory for Berserker, which is what I keep reminding myself everytime I'm tempted to order Royce.

My Berserker should be coming on monday. I see you point with Royce Span, but I fiugred Dutch needed an ally in the war against the Preds so I got him anyway. :) Nice figure though.

And so it begins... ;) It's really an addictive line for sure, and once you own more than one, all of those little differences will become more noticeable and justified. At that point, you'd better hold onto your wallet :D! HT Preds are a hell of a drug.

No light up feature. Bummer. Tried everything with the tabs and such, but still no dice.

Debating whether to send him back or what? $200 is too much for a figure with faulty features.

Try messing around with the battery while the light switch is in the 'on' position. If you move it around and manage to get light out of that bio, there should be a way to get it to work.

Zerky made it home safely...and lights work...:yess:
Nothing special here...just contributing.

Just a patch of randomness.

I gave it a shot for about a half hour trying this way and that, and didn't get so much as a wink of light. Think I may be SOL on this one.:(

Bummer. Well, hope you can get a replacement. I'd say don't go for the refund just yet; you'd miss out on a milestone in HT's methods of figure-making.
