I'm hoping SS makes a 1:4 maquette of him, and it looks as accurate as possible.. HT didn't do it, NECA didn't do it, SS's Life-size bust didn't achieve that either. :gah:

They made one. In a video they posted during comic-con they showed all 3 of the Predators maquettes they made. Can't remember what it looks like, and too lazy to look it up, but they did make it.

Unless they scratched the design and started over again :gah:

They did make a Maquette of him.. It's in that badass sprinting-like pose, but it's not 1:4 scale! It's the same size as the Falconer, Tracker, and Alien Drone from A:R. I hope they make every Pred/Alien..

I'm sure we will eventually see a 1:4 Mr. Black, though.

OK, I remember that video now.
That's the one with the P1 LSB and some sketches.

The Berserker maquette looked kind of small.

That's right, they are only 1:6 scale.

He could never close them. Maybe he squashed them under his mask but he never closed them P1/ P2 style. That's just his face:lecture

The scene were he is about to decapitate Classic is the best to see. After he roars and swings his arm blade back his mandibles are in a relaxed position, which are still crabby like and open.

That's my point, with the rubber springy mandibles and all they could achieve unmasked and masked completely accurate with just one headsculpt.:monkey3

But I'm not too sure how it'd look though... or stand up quality wise in years after release.

Nothing official.

Damn!:impatient:

Personally I can't see that method working. I'd rather just pay more for a separate accurate head sculpt to be included.

That's what I would like to see also. HT has included multiple heads with other figures. Have one with the bio on and another with interchangeable mandibles (mouth open/closed).

Totally agree with that. Was just something I thought up.:cuckoo:
Also I'd wish HT would give more than just opened and closed mandibles. Like completely closed(for the mask), opened/talking(elder p2) and opened. Like the Jungle hunter would definitely benefit from that.

They could have that classic ticking of the mandibles, and when the mandibles opened halfway, before closing back up. Things like that make the Pred 1 much more believable, imo.

HT Elder is a good example. Great mandible sculpt and no seam lines around the mandibles.

The interchangeable mandibles on a second head is a good idea though. It makes me appreciate NECA releasing three separate variants now. I'd rather pay abit more for more figures or extras in the box and have greater accuracy.

Saying that, for the prices we pay now, we should be getting 100% screen accuracy:wink1:

I'm sure that if HT continues to make and improve their Predator figures something like this may happen in the future...

DX P1 anyone?!:yess:

Current Pred dislay:

One day I hope to own a Berserker that looks as accurate and awesome as he does in the following pictures. My main beef with the film makers is as to why they didn't show his face as shown in the lighting below. He looks great!

If HT ever makes a Berserker that looks like that, I'll take my current one and toss him in the trash. I won't even bother trying to sell it :lol
