This is still the only Predator that I have. Have it displayed with Royce. Picked up a loose Classic base/stand to display between the two in that final battle scene. Would like to pick up the Classic someday to convert to an original Predator but prices are too high.

Had the glue on the leather straps come off on his chest piece. Is it possible to get the chest armour back on once its all glued back together and dried or should I put the armour back on hin then glue the piece back on? Its the leather piece that wraps around the body.

I've had a couple of the straps unglue on the other Predators, and I found it was smarter to glue them in place.

Ok, did you press/hold the leather down into the glue or let it set as is?

Definitely hold it in place. Get a good glue. You don't need a lot just a small dab; one dot or two.

Got Gorilla glue, seemed to have worked, thanks for the info.

I recently started getting back into the Predator and Alien movies after a couple of years of their being no activity and started buying the Predators back. The Predators do have a major problem with the straps coming unglued and rotting away. The berserker i got i had to re-glue most of it and even then some of the straps are falling to bits. ( had to do a strap on tracker too )

Luckily all of the leather straps on my Berserker are fine. Just my luck though, after posting this, I'll probably find that one of them has come unglued next time I take it out for cleaning.

Just a question out of mere curiosity: when I purchased this two years ago MISB, right out of the box the laser sight on the bio mask didn't work. The battery makes a firm connection in the compartment and I even tried using a different battery, still to no avail. Would purchasing a new bio mask likely fix this issue, or could it still possibly be something else?

Its an issue with them all ( not literally, but its extremely common ). I've had 4 of them, only 1 of them worked and it was touch and go, extremely sensitive. They are all pretty much duds its not just yours. Im sure a few people have ones that work fine, but i aswell as others have had no luck with them.

Infact, on mine i used it as an excuse to just snip the wire off as they never had a wire in the movie. And then repainted the masks myself.

Ah ok, that's what I initially heard as well regarding this figure upon first discovering that the laser sight was inoperative, that it's a pervasive issue. Never bothered me though being that I would never turn it on anyway; was merely wondering that if I ever did want it to work, if it'd likely be something as simple as replacing the bio mask. Not likely that I'd ever do it, just more for the sake of knowing.

Don't care what a few peopke think but Beserker is a kickass looking Pred.

I think he is also. My favorite design of the Super Predators at least; I really like the mounted jawbone on the jaw of his bio mask. Second favorite SP design would be Tracker, with the tusks.

Even though the Super Predator triumvirate is undoubtedly a cool display, if you're just going for an adequate representation of the film Predators, I think having a Berserker, Classic Predator and Royce would capture the climax of the film quite nicely.

Also, does anyone have any good recommendations for cleaning the blades? I had him displayed with the long blade for awhile and recently switched to the short blade, and noticed the long blade has kind of lost its shine and feels a little dull and dirty.
