Whats wrong with it???

Outside of the profile view, it looks a bit too much like the T2 figure's hair and not quite like the T1 spike.

This photo really highlighted it for me. If the blood weren't on there to clarify that it's the T1 BD head from this figure, you'd think it was the regular T2 head at quick glance.

I'd like to see the Police figure have hair more like the photo I posted to distinguish it from the T2 T-800.

From those two photos I can see what your talking about. But I still think it looks pretty close.

It's not terrible, my main thing is just wanting to distinguish the T1 and T2 figures a bit more if possible. They might do it since a head with the Endo eye showing might mean a fresh sculpt and not just slight tweak of the current BD head.

Yep, and his hair was longer in T1, even after it got spiked. You should be able to see it below his ears.

(obviously the above is the animatronic but it gets the point across)

Yeah, he doesn't have a spiked haircut in T1, it's just the front from the singing that took away his eyebrows. The sides and back stayed longer like he starts out.

they make tons of terminators from t4, and not one from t3.:cuckoo:
okay, terminator 3 was not soooo good, but...salvation was not the best terminator:panic:

Xeno's sculpt really shows how the hair should be on a spike T1 head, a bit more spikey looking at the front like HT's current head, but the rest is on the right track.

They may do it, with time constraints, they may have settled for close enough on the BD head because it's just an extra goodie but not the main head and probably a fair number of collector's will only have it around as spare, where the Tech Noir, Police and full BD heads will be more focal for folks and getting things more than close enough is key. I just hope it's not the folks giving approvals on the portraits dictating it to be shorter because you can't change that.

I'll be fine with it if they don't fix it, there's something about every HT figure I own that I would improve given the chance, but if they did tweak it for future T1 spikey heads, it'd be all the better.

Im just curious how they are going to have the gargoyles fit accurately with his spikey hair. They cant have the same approach as they did with T2 because his hair was much longer on the sides and back in T1.

Probably keep the length, just sculpt it more pressed against his head where it needs to be to accommadte the glasses, and keep his sideburns flat too so he can look normal without the glasses on.

Alternate, swappable hairpiece with glasses affixed. Since PERS will be underneath, the hair will have to be removable anyway. Might as well go that route so that you don't have strange looking hair when the glasses are off.

A lot of assumption here that they will even bother with another T1 T-800.

I would have thought that a battle damaged version from Judgement Day would be far more likely to make an appearance, and I can't see Hot Toys doing both.
