If i dont buy this now. Is the T1 - t800 going to be one of those collectibles a few years from now, where I am going to say I wish I would have picked this one up, kinda like the mark 1, and wolverine.??? Or is Hot toys just going to keep making these from the terminator line.

Any fully licensed T1 figure from Hot Toys will be majorly sought after in the future. I'd advise that you buy them now at their initial retail prices if you're a big fan of the first film because yeah they will be like Mark 1, Wolverine, Blade, Original Costume Batman, P1 predator etc.

This is officially my favorite HT!!! I hope they do follow the T1 line and give us the other characters in the movie. I'm keeping one in the box to either do the operation scene or make my own Police Station shoot out.

Is there some kind of hold up at Toys2 or something? I bought my T-800 Friday and Ive havent gotten my UPS tracking yet.

Well they ship in order of orders placed and may have gotten a small stock the first time around, placing an order just recently, you're likely to wait a bit to get it from them.

Finally decided to PO this guy at Razor's Edge . Was going to wait, but I figure if we've been seeing pictures of this figure for a month, he's bound to arrive soon, maybe in January.

Its gonna be one hell of a packed first quarter of 2011. This guy and Falconer now in stock at Toys2, Barney Ross will soon follow and no doubt so will Platoon Sergeant Barnes. This doesn't even account for multiples. I hope there'll be a gap afterwards, this stuff will take me up to my credit limit...a place I have daren't gone before. By 'gap' I just mean actual releases not announcements, so HT feel free to announce 1984 Reese and T2 BD T-800 any time now

OK then. I have an email from Toys2 saying they have my 2 T1 T-800s, my extra T2 T-800 and Falconer Predator and he just wants my confirmation to send them....which I think is cool of him because he's obviously giving me the option of him not shipping them right away in the event that I'm not ready to receive or be charged for them. Well.....obviously I very much want to receive them, the being charged for them part I could do without for a bit longer as my existing bill is big enough as it is!

What to do. I just wasn't expecting Falconer to be available so soon on top of the T-800. I ordered him alongside Platoon Sergeant Barnes. I wonder will I ask Eric to hold Falconer till Barnes comes in as I originally intended or just say feckit and take the financial pain. Money I'm going to owe is money I'm going to owe whether its now or later. Hmmm.

Well I finally decided to keep the format of my original orders and asked Eric to hold the Falconer until Sergeant Barnes from Platoon arrives in (ordered those together). No way I'm waiting any longer than necessary for Tech Noir T-800 though so my 2 of him plus that extra T2 T-800 will almost certainly be with me next week sometime. Though, with no tracking, every day next week is going to be torture wondering if there'll be a box waiting for me in work.

I opted to wait on Falconer because I'd worry what the size of the shipping box would be with 3 Terminators and him and certain looks and questions I might get asked at home! Plus making up my T1 T-800s (Tech Noir, arm surgery, eye surgery, naked arrival/T4 CGI Arnie) will be plenty of excitement in one shipment - best to spread it out a bit and have Falconer and Sgt. Barnes to look forward to once that excitement fades.

And then somewhere, somehow I'll fit in Barney Ross.

That was all the coaxing I needed to cancel my order with Sideshow. I just sent them a cancellation email and ordered two with Cornerstorecomics instead.
