Yeah but it is a bugger when you can't get that last piece right and you have to start from scratch.

If worse comes to worse you can always turn off the lights and use your imagination as to how the figures are posed.

I still haven't really experimented with all the different bits on EITHER of my Arnolds yet. :lol

Truth is, I'm actually just waiting to get another Detolf cabinet - then I'll set up everything to the letter. :duff

Here's to that mate.

You should really get your hands dirty and see all the different poses and custom you can get with the big man.

Nothing fancy with my Terminator, but I don't feel the need to get him in any mega pose, had him in this pose for months now.

Not even the DX13 get dislodge this as my #1 Hot Toys fig. I know this as a fact. :exactly:

Yeah, I know man.

The problem is, I've got a small space for all my stuff at the mo - & without it being a fiddly headache, it's a pain to get it all out & mess with stuff.

Soon.. :D

That is one of my main reasons to keeping my collection to what I really want...space.

It really sucked that I have to miss out on the Batmobile and ED-209 due to space but it had to be done.

I had to pass on the Batmobile because of space too, but it's probably good we passed since it had atrocious defects on it. Although ED 209 doesn't take up nearly the room of Batmobile. I might even display my ED next to my 1/4 Endo.

I have had my Tech Noir in the same pose since I got it on release. :horror I never get sick of looking at it this way. :)

This was your picture!?

Back when I first got into collecting and was searching through Hot Toys older figures amd became aware of this figure. I did an Image search and was blown away with this pic. It showed me why the T-800 T1 figure had to be my first Hot Toys purchase.

Here's some more I took. I had some fun with B/W on a few

This last one makes no sense from a character POV but I thought it looked cool. This is also what a-dev and myself were talking about to correct the uzi pointing down

Luckily, I'm not really into the 1/6 vehicles. However, I would like to try and get the bat-pod. That looks super cool.

I get what your saying. It's the worst with Lucas and people hanging on his every word.
Well, I think you have a point - that it doesn't really make sense for the 101 to refer to the flesh cover - but this detail has been appearing on toy boxes now for years. If memory serves the boxes of the old Sideshow 1/6 figures went into a lot of detail about it. It hasn't been contradicted by any of these actual movie writers like Cameron and Fisher...or Wisher, can't remember his name - the people who know what was intended.

As I said though you make a good point - if the model number refers to the flesh cover and the resistance knows these model numbers and the particular flesh cover that they refer to - then Skynet's ''infiltration'' is busted. On the other hand if the resistance only finds out these model numbers at the last minute, like when they are just about to send Reese back through time, how does Reese even remember that little detail. Not impossible that he could but less plausible than if they'd known it for a long time. And at Tech Noir couldn't Reese have spotted the 'model 101' a bit before he was actually on Sarah with the gun pointed at her head? Incidentally Sarah should have been dead right there. A real machine wouldn't take a dramatic pause.
i'd add a c) to my previous a) and b):
c) same people who call Schwarzenegger appearance "model 101" name another terminator in the bunker "model 100". that was long before 101, so there had to be already like 50 or 100 varieties, and Reese would no doubt know what a 101 looks like. and here comes what a-dev says about Reese searching the disco bar and not recognising a terminator until it actually attacks.
so yes i totally don't believe that 101 is a face, especially because if it was so, there would be no "series 800 model 101" name at all, as it could use that model anytime and get a new one :)

Also thanks to P. as I recently stole his idea for a burnt damaged T1 with the other head sculpt. I recently picked up another jacket and basically mashed it up with flame and ash. It really is a great idea if you have a spare jacket.
wow, i didn't think anybody even remembers that thing :)\
i had to make two of them: didn't like the first attempt so gave it to a table repair scene and made a new one for a walking variant. no new photos unfortunately.

Yeah that mod always stuck out when I used to lurk here. I did the damage to a spare jacket I got and did the mod a few months ago -
