that hair reshape is... nice. fits the 80ths.
though he looks like the actor from "mummy" and "bedazzled" now )))
Can you explain the hair on that??!
i'd say "a generic terminator from T1 universe", like the Columbu machine.

Speaking of hair-reshapes though I'm interested to see what TFG does with his. We're all using that same T1 sculpt for our PS bashes but the hair isn't long/full enough. I'd like to see what he comes up with.

That looks cool. And that is preassembled and painted I presume? Also presumably you couldn't find one in red?

Yeah, it comes as seen in the pics. The quality is amazing.
And youre right, they are next to impossible to find in red now, but that doesnt matter to me since I'll be repainting it, and the fairing piece from the BMW bike.

I have the shotty from the MMS02 but it has the stock on it still. Did you guys just just snip it off?

I'm guessing there's a plastic pole running through the gun so I could effectively just snip either side

I snipped mine with an xacto knife...but later I found out that snipping was unnecessary. I cant remember how, but you can remove it without snipping anything.

Wallstreet Arnie? What was that from, Raw Deal?
yeah.

Good observation. Slightly longer than HTs T1 hair is exactly what Im aiming to do to it with it.
I'm torn on which look from the film to do though...

either this -

or with wind blowing it like this -

This is what I'm talking about. That likeness, it needs a neck that is properly modelled after Arnie's neck, not some generic tree trunk. His neck is distinctly powerful but not 'inhuman' looking. This is why I keep arguing against balljoint heads, you ruin the profile with the separation and actual gaps. And they seem to just not care about what the neck looks like when they're doing it separately. If it were sculpted with the head I feel they'd actually pay more attention to what it should look like. :gah:

i think they just need some actual fans in sculpting.
for example robocop and ED seem to have their guy. terminators still didn't get one (though the current girl tries as hell), and as for aliens and predators... their guy is just not dead yet :D

- Body Sculpted by Joseph Tsang & T. J. Cha

That explains the neck. :rolleyes2

When you've got one person working on the head and not just one but 2 people working on the body is it any wonder that the two elements don't work together very well. I mean, aside from the likeness issue and lack of detail, the head and neck on DX10 don't even work well together on a technical level. When you turn the head or tilt it these big ****ing gaps open up.

Kyle Windrix sculpted the head and neck together on his figures for NECA and so far they are the only Arnie figures that seem to have a clue about the importance of his neck to his overall likeness. This is why it surprised me when Kyle came out in favour of balljoint heads. That said though NECA did a good job of it on Dutch, bringing even more shame on HT and what they did to a 'high-end' figure
