close photos of the figure really highlight how incredibly short, smashed and wrinkled the sculpt is.

It could do with a revisit but then I have no faith that they'd nail it on a new attempt either. Also, on latest evidence HT forgot that Arnold was a body builder.

Wish they could poach that Scuderia fella from Enterbay. His full BD T2 head would suggest he has a better eye for Arnold's likeness than anyone at Hot Toys. I also wish he had been given the chance to do a full Arnold sculpt, either clean or semi-BD to fully confirm this.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the head sculpt being sold here on ebay?

Custom Arnold Schwarzenegger T800 Terminator 1 6 Head Sculpt | eBay

I'm wondering if it turns out to be a reasonably convincing knock-off as the genuine sculpts are going for more a little more than I am willing to fork out for a potential kit bash. Tried a search but didn't find aanything.

Thanks.

unfortunately by the time they appeared on ebay i had already bought original ones for all terminator copies. they really do look convincing, but i have no idea where to use that head again to buy and check.

If nobody has grabbed one I might be the guinea pig and report back on them then.

I just wanna add to something that's probably been discussed to death but please bear with me since I just got the figure,

The M60 jacket the Arnold wears in the movie is has many creases and such but the figure's jacket is way too clean and stiff. Is there a way I could make it look more movie accurate? I was planning on crumpling the jacket using my fist but I'm afraid that might damage the jacket.

Also, as an owner of a M60 jacket myself, I immediately noticed that the collar is missing the zipper that houses the hood, something that the movie version also has. I wonder if I should put a 1/6 zipper behind the collar?

I saw the new MMS238 pants and boots on my local eBay but they're really pricey, I was wondering if getting them would really make a difference to the MMS136, as some people had claimed here. Are the new pants/boots more accurate and look that much better?

well, MMS136 boots are SUPER ugly and stupid, and its pants have a color of acid *****s.
at the same time new boots have a very movie-close shape, and pants have a color matching some scenes with some specific light (still wrong, but can be found on screenshots).
so here is a positive test:
if you:
a) really care for the appearance of your figure
or
b) have only one figure
you should spend money for replacement.
and a negative test:
if you think that MMS238 looks like Schwarzenegger - don't bother with replacement, you won't see the difference :D

Dammit P, sounds l don't have much choice in the matter. The pants are $40 while the boots are $48, it's gonna be more than half of what I paid recently for the MMS136. :slap :lol

well i had to get 5 pairs of pants & boots. but spent months to get them for around $30 each item on auctions instead of buy it nows. that's why i think that if you have only one figure, it's better to replace those items today when they still are for sale, or you'll have 136 and 238 forever unmatching.
