Can't argue with that.
Finally got my non damaged Tech Noir on a full TTM-20 body. No more puny Bane arms for him. Also better possibility on the TTM-20 body as opposed to the original MMS136 body -
Excellent Reese slikkerias, well done sir. I'm so close to picking up the one on eBay, I think P. has it in his collection. Hey P. what was it that you recommended that I do with the fire/smoke damage Tech Noir T-800 chain on the jacket again? If you remember pal?
Nice. You captured some good angles on the headsculpt. While not flawless it's still got real character. I like the pose too

Like you say once you get the MMS238 you have a great T1 T-800 to display. Don't know how I would feel on an upgrade though? Sure the sculpt could be better, the deal breaker for me would be the addition of the no eyebrows head sculpt.

Yeah a Tech Noir T-800 remake could end up being 2 steps forward and 2 steps back. Having said that I'd be pretty excited regardless. No matter that I already have what I have, any new figures based on the first 2 movies is a huge deal to me.
1) nice pose and excellent angle/light on the face! photos of his face made like this always made me kitbash more technoir terminators... that's how i actually ended having more than two
that's what MMS136 definitely misses - double joint elbows. but overall 136 body is superiour.
2) slikkerias's Reese uses an alternate headsculpt plus he painted it himself. though it features significant Reese... features, i prefer the one coming with the figure 100%, but i seem to be in minority. so no, that's not what you get on ebay. what you get is in the middle - except for the body, i replaced them with slim muscle bodies to avoid that gap between neck & body.
3) chain was partially covered with soot. check how shiny it is on the back and how dark in the front. IF that is a movie used jacket and not a fanmade one
also, if you're into accuracy, you can fix the pockets. from the first moment the terminator appears in clothes, he had his pockets like this.

I was ok with the old one that came with the figure, but this new one from Rocco is on another level in my opinion. But judge for yourself.

Must say I think the original head sculpt on that Reese is the better head also, no doubt in my opinion.
A-dev it would be nice to see what HT 2016 would do with the Tech Noir T-800 but like you say original highlights of the current one could be gone and like you say 2 steps forward and 2 steps back but I'm sure we would all PO the sucker anyways so it doesn't really matter.

You are aware what the original one is right? The one on the left is the original and on the right with the outfit the Rocco one. ...sorry, just don't see how the original one can be preferred. Other than if it's your wallet speaking ;-)
...not said that I don't like the original, but in hand there's miles between them. Also, you don't see it in the picture, but the original head is a bit too small.

That Rocco head is pretty awesome. I'd say the best attempt I've seen.

Yeah no doubting the eyes on the eBay one are somewhat strange but to me the Rocco one does not look like Reese at all, well at least to me, I'm just not feeling it in all honesty.

It's not 100% Reese sure, but I like the interpretation more than anything else.

All I can say is that you have to see it in hand then. It is very much Reese indeed. I would never go back to the old head.
