I just bought those studs P . linked a few pages back since I realized more than one of my Terminators needs them. Hope it's the right size!
oops. didn't i say that i tried 2 different purchases already, and they have wrong shape? :(
Noticed the trousers on this guy aren't clean beige, but a sort of subtle dirt effect(?) or discolouration here and there. Never noticed before, wondered if that was normal?
i hope it's intentional, because that's how they should look like after fire and falling. and yes they are all like that. i have 12 or 14 :)

Aw crap. Mine's on the way. Do you have photos of them?

nope i didn't make photos yet. and the problem with them is that they don't have a cone on top, it's a smooth surface. well, they costed like 0.99 for several hundreds, so no loss.

I purchased the 'correct' ones a good while ago to replace a few that were missing on mine. If I can figure out who I bought them from, I'll post. I will say this though, the studs that HT used are not in the correct scale. They are too big. Trust me. I did a lot of research to put together my lifesize Tech Noir. I purchased much smaller ones, I think they are only 2mm and plan on redoing all of my jackets. I know, nobody wants to hear that. Just wanted to mess with P. and a-dev a little, because I know it will bother them now. :wink1:

wait, you seriously thought this info will be a surprise? :lol
the ones in your link have correct shape, but i would never have enough patience to replace studs on 8 jackets, especially because they are not seen.
lucky you though, yours will look much better :)

Aww P., nothing gets by you. I guess it didn't bug you enough to do anything about it though?

Looks like you were editing your post as I was typing. I had enough patience one time to take a custom from before the 136 was made, and file every stud down to the correct size. What was I thinking?

:( of course it's visible every time i get some screenshot or see this.

:rotfl :clap that's the devotion. nope, i really don't like miniature work like that. i can do it, and that's why i hate it.

BTW same seller that you posted has even better studs, and very easy to glue due to plain base... but they are 4 mm :(

oh. if 2 mm look correct... then 12 mm are real-sized o_O

I think I used 1/2 inch studs for my coat, so that translates to 12.7mm or 2.1167mm at 1/6 scale. The 2mm studs are for fingernails. They are not flat on the bottom, which I think is good. It allows you to get a drop of glue inside for better adhesion. They are sooooooo tiny. I have been putting off starting them.

I think 4mm is the size on the jacket now, isn't it? Or are they 3mm?

Oh well, I can use the wrong studs for the Terminator Cameron belt since she wears a lot of belts with studs, a homage to the 84 look, perhaps?
