...T1 is one of my favorite figures. IMO it does more than hold up by today's standards. Hot Toys was on fire from MMS 80 to MMS 140ish.

It's far from accurate, but it's the best looking (and most menacing) of all HT's Terminators. If that makes sense.

While I agree with the assertion that it's far from accurate, many current Hot Toys fall into the 'far from accurate' category too. All HT Terminators (all scales) have more than a few inaccuracies. Quite painful when you think about it... but, first world problems to be sure.

Oh don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it. I bought the 136 and DX10 on the same day a couple years back and I actually love the T2 look more, but I immediately tossed aside the DX and kept staring in awe of this figure- it's just that good. I later bought the 238 BD and the DX13 but they just don't compare to this one in terms of pure shelf presence.
People keep saying the DX13 is the best but I would this one in a heartbeat. It's definitely a figure all Terminator fans should own.

Yep. Legs look weird to be honest, meaning this isn't quite as much of a step up as it could be from the Dutch body I'm currently using.

Try KG Hobby or Onesixth kit. I have ordered from Onesixth kit many times and I've just tried KG - with the Arnold body in fact - so we will see how that goes.
