If I haven't watched Captain America or knew the cast, I wouldn't recognize the actor behind the sculpt of HT. Doesn't look Evan to me plus it looks diff. from the proto pics. Oh well, I'm still pumped to get this one. I just hoped they put some weatherings on the shield just like in the movie.

I personally like the clean look, having said that, I can't imagine it'll be difficult to mod it and get the BD look

Although I imagine the Spain shields will be stupid prices on ebay

Hot Toys may have once again accidentally made a figure of the actor's stunt double.

That said, there's not a lot of pictures out there of Evans with the helmet on to make a good comparison.

I'm afraid so. but I'm still hoping to change that first expression when I look at some good quality pics of Cap later on.

Well, they know you're still gonna buy it even w/ those cheap shoe box type thing. I personally like the design they used in front.

Idk. I think their boxes are nicer nowadays. The Thor and Spidey boxes were really nice as was the Alice box.

That all being said, the sculpt looks off but hopefully that is just the pics. Time will tell.

Cap's a winner, it looks fine - no, sensational would be a fitting word. The box is also excellent - great motif, & practical for storage. The folks that aren't satisfied with it - did you want a large round shield box in the flavour of the recent Superman?

I am seeing some pics around and like it all. It doesn't bother me a bit that it doesn't look exactly like Evans. Most prefer a comic version anyway. The shield and the box alone are worth it. And it is one of the lower priced pieces!

Yeah, I like the simpler box designs and I think the packaging represents the character well.

The only difference would be a few scratches on the helmet and shield; that hardly constitutes a second release.

In this photo his face below the mask looks like it's swollen by a third, making it too large for the upper half of his head. His nose and mouth look gigantic compared to his eyes. The suit and shield look great though.

Sculpt not looking good at all there, but I'll keep my final judgment till better pics comes out.

Maybe they are releasing the better sculpt with the other Cap

I'm super stoked for this he looks pretty fine to me but I'm not really a detail whore so as long as it's a very good passing resemblance then I'll be a happy camper.

That said I'm sure as with the Joker figures some of the talented sculpters on here will start producing more accurate heads if we really want them.
