Just bad photography guys...It'll look a LOT better with posing and decent pics...Especially the face.

The only difference would be a few scratches on the helmet and shield; that hardly constitutes a second release.

don't forget weathered clothes. and they've released plenty of figures with less changes so I don't know why it's so hard to see And with how bad people are asking for a BD shield, Hot Toys would be stupid not to

Another observation, it looks like they may have pulled off the dirty-look in the grey parts of the suit, most notably the abdomen area. Which would be great! The star should have remained a bright white though.

...and they've released plenty of figures with less changes...

Such as? I can't think of any "battle-damage" releases that came with less than a few added scratches.

That face does look a little different alright.
Not sure if that's a good or bad thing but it is one awesome looking figure regardless.

I can only speak from stuff I have from HT but off the top of my head

1) They gave AvP:R Wolf a whip and base, so I guess you can add a base if they re-release a BD Cap

2) Difference between "Grid" and and regular AvP warrior Alien was the Grid on the head

3) They sprayed green paint on Predalien and re-released that

4) They cut of P2's arm, gave him a breath mask, and sprayed green paint on him too

5) They added a gunarm to Robocop and that was enough to turn in from a V1 into a V2 instantly


But at this point, it really is a dead horse. I'm getting this figure and am completely happy with it as-is so I'm not gonna waste any more time speculating on what might be and enjoy this one

I'm loving the entire outfit, box, accessories, shield, but the sculpt seems a little off to me. However, the more I look at it compared to Chris Evans shots, I'm starting to see him....it is just a bad rushed photograph by a bad photographer- this isn't of Indy proportions, everyone will be very happy I bet once we see some quality OMG pics

I have no problem with the sculpt being off. Most of his face is obscured anyway by his mask/helmet. Can't wait to get it!

I honestly feel that bad photos are the most telling; a great photo of a figure is all about playing the best angles to camera, and using a combination of light and shadow to highlight or hide certain things. He'll look great in OMG's pictures because he'll be shrouded halfway in darkness. That's how he made the horendeous Indy sculpt look halfway decent.

I'm assuming that HT will give us a clean non helmet version of Chris Evans with the USO version...I wonder if this Captain head is removable and we can put the Chris Evans head on, as so:
