looks like they superglue on mine because of the white film around the glue area.

buy gorilla glue 10x stronger then superglue and nail polish remover to remove or alcohol or buy new belt just in case..a tiny dropp of gorilla will work..

You can find the link to the SS newsletter in the sub-forum 'Ask Sideshow Collectibles', then look for the thread 'Sideshow Newsletter Access?' One of the members posted it [last page] in there, because many others [including me] couldn't get it via website or by email.

I think I got more interested in Cap because of the 'Marvel vs Capcom' games.

Haha, too bad the Avengers trio of characters don't work too greatly together in tournaments. I would love to see Iron Man/ Captain America/ Thor/ Hawkeye/ Hulk all synergize and kick butt together in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Well I thought I'd follow my own advice and swap out Cap's body. Only problem is my Captain America's jacket doesn't have a zipper on his zip ><
So once I unzip it, it'll no longer zip back up bah. Looking on ebay at parted peices I'm assuming he should come with a zipper? DOH

Mine had a zipper, but when I got him out of the box his jacket was half unzipped and when I zipped it closed the zipper clasp came off. I just hope it stays closed now. I don't think I can re-attach the clasp.
No hope in swapping out the body now either.

I got those too,did you get the extra set of pegs for his boots,to make him slightly taller?
I called SSC on Friday and I got them in the mail today. Not sure if I'm going to use them now.

Yeah I got wrist pegs, foot pegs and those buttons. I have not put Cap next Thor or Iron Man yet so I don't know how much difference the pegs will make?

I wasn't going to worry about the extra long foot pegs, because I never did receive them with my figure. But, I decided to contact SS to get the pegs anyway.

The pegs make a big difference. It's amazing how a few millimeters make him look better.

I got my cap last month just had a few problems with the shield grip strap coming loose and the gun holster and belt pouch also loose/ripped.

Sideshow told me they are shipping me a whole new body and a new shield I'm an international customer they have asked me to destroy the old items though once I receive the new ones. anyone else have to do this when getting a replacement?

Feels kinda weird having to destroy and photograph my figure

Can someone explain this belt mod I read mentioned a few times? I'll probably have to buy another one anyway, one of the rivits came out of the belt in the back, ripped the belt a little to.

Idk, I'm not one that does those kind of things. But my Cap is fine, my friend wanted me to order him one, so it's his call if he still wants it.

Strange. They said the exact same thing about the crooked A on the head last week. What are the odds that every figure they have in stock has both a crooked star on the chest and a crooked A on the head? Seems fishy...Here's that post:

Did you post any pictures of the crooked A? Sorry wasn't really following the QC issue
