Strange. They said the exact same thing about the crooked A on the head last week. What are the odds that every figure they have in stock has both a crooked star on the chest and a crooked A on the head? Seems fishy...

Unfortunately, the star on the chest will not be straight on any of our figures. It wasn't mine. It was this guy's.

When I finally get my figure from Alter Ego, hopefully it has neither of these issues as I'm starting to doubt they could be resolved...

Oh, I got the email from the same person. I was told last week that replacements will arrive this week. Wow, how could the second batch be any worst? Kind of glad my other Cap had just a broken shield strap.

I am waiting on AE second batch as well. I understand it should ship out sometime this week. A crooked "A" is totally unacceptable, I need to read up on their return policy if this cannot be resolved.

So is this figure worth the price...169.99? Seems like there's some issues with height, crooked stars, people replacing the figure with a TType body, etc. He looks kind of fat in some pics, other pics he looks friggin' boss. With the Red Skull coming out I've been thinking more about this one.

Sideshow should state "Attention Customers: Please note - this item comes with crooked 'A' and 'Star'."

Since they are telling customers that has this problem that all figures are like that.

Just got got an email from the SSC returns department. Asked for a replacement bc my Cap figure's suit was all messed up upon arrival. The back zipper was busted apart and the pants button was also broken. Sideshow is going to send me another body only, and I have to smash up the original body and send them pics. I am glad that this is how they are handling it, mostly bc my first Cap has a perfectly straight A, but I don't know how I can bring myself to smash part of a $150 figure LOL.

That's bad news for me too. I sent in a replacement request for that very reason. Mine is a bit worse but the "A" is just fine so I'm afraid to ask for a replacement and get a crooked "A" as well.
