So quick question, I got Cap this morning for my bday from my awesome wife and I noticed that there is a little bag of buttons or something. I didn't see anything about it on this thread but it most likely has been already discussed.

I asked this yesterday but no answer, what the heck are the buttons in the bag for?

I think those are replacements, in case the buttons on the straps start to fall off..?

There are buttons on the clothing and the buttons in the package are just a replacement for repairs, incase some would happen to fall off while posing the figure.

i got two from the first batch and both have straight As and stars...

Sideshow should state "Attention Customers: Please note - this item comes with crooked 'A' and 'Star'."

Since they are telling customers that has this problem that all figures are like that.

Yes. An they should be applying a defective-goods discount.

Exactly, the T1 T800 had a lot of his coat buttons (studs) fall off. Guess Hot Toys was just covering that issue.

Yeah, the buttons on the T1 were a pain in the ass. The worst thing is they never fell off when I had the figure but before I even took him out of the package they were missing!

For real. this is the last email i got.

"Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with an item that has a different looking emblem as they are all applied in the same position. There is an acceptable range for minor imperfections on a hand crafted item and the emblem placement falls into this range. As such, Hot Toys will not be providing new heads."

Yeah, that's pretty lopsided. I'm not sure about these responses from Sideshow about pulling several and all of them having the same imperfection.

Yeah i its crazy. I mean im sure they looked which means that Hot Toys really screwed up on some batches, the least they can do is fix their mistake to those who show pictures of their figures with this mess ups.

It's not. That's why I cancelled my order. After Batman and Superman, just not going to accept Hot Toys lack of QC. Have to let my money speak for me.

Yeah it sucks so much but i might have to get a refund.
