How's the state of your shield everyone?

Mine has a small piece of red paint missing along the outer edge, but I think it has always been there.

Well, noticing my Cap's shield had the slightest amount of dust on it the other night, I gently blew on it...and watched in horror as the red paint literally crumbled away. I wish I was joking. No pressure applied. Just...gone. I keep this guy in a dark, temperature controlled office. Unbelievable.

Here's mine. I no longer need the battle damaged one from the Avengers Cap.

Weird... I have 2 shields and not a scratch. Maybe every time you blow on the shield, you get flecks of spit onto it? I use a camera lens cleaning air pump thing to gently clean my figures.

My shield is flaking now too. Along the edges.
Pisses me off.
First the zipper on the tunic broke off and now this.
Unacceptable for such a high priced figure.
And a shame. It looks awesome.

I seriously believe HT are giving us 2 shields with their Avengers Cap to allow those who've had issues with their TFA Cap shield to replace it. Hopefully that means they've recognised and remedied the problem.

I only just got my TFA Cap last week and now I have to worry about his shield chipping just by blowing dust off of it?!

Not cool, Hot Toys. Not frickin cool.

I really hope they improved the Avengers Cap shields(And actually make them out of METAL this time, like they were supposed to and like they did with Thor's hammer)....

I have the TFA Cap and am in a dilemma which figure I should get to place beside him...thinking of the Avengers Cap, Avengers Thor or Mark I 2.0 .... any suggestions anyone?
