Well, Amber's the better figure of the two released so far, so..

But one of the worst characters... I barely remember her from the movie at all, I just think HT picked her because she was asian

Whereas Sweet Pea, she was unreal and actually contributed to the plot

Saw some release date thing for Hot Toys on FB. Amber and Babydoll are supposed to come out end of this month. I don't think U.S. release will be that far off behind.

Agreed- the most "fleshed out" (pardon the pun) character in the movie.

I hope not...or else I'll be tempted to pick-up Amber as well.

If HT were to announce Sweat Pea as the first teo go on sale, i guarentee they'd get more sales of Babydoll and Amber.

Stupid thing was announcing Batman Returns, they're gonna get a few less sales as some collectors will wait for that version of the suit than the 89 version.

Only the two City Hunter figures and Batman (which were just released this month in Asia) are on track for that more or less. The rest are delayed/slated for later.

The iron man remake is releasing within 30 days & the Batman wasn't due til Febuary/March (yet it gets released before ones due last year) The only ones i've got on order are the ones still delayed

Sideshows newsletter posted that the Mark 2 AU and Batman 89 was coming in 30 days and Fb posted that the city hunter ines were coming out soon.

I think cosmo is reffering to the Hot Toys Community release dates which are taken from hottoys.jp which are listed as Jan, but have changed as each month passed.

I'm still waiting for Sam Flynn, Jake Sully & Babydoll to get released

Hot Toys Japan has changed Babydoll, Amber & Jake Sully to April from January... What's betting another bat-remake will go up for order this week and be due before these lot HT

The movie is long gone now - a lot folks have panned it, & with each month that passes, I'd say interest in this line will fade.. & maybe the possibility of the others getting made.

This line is only worth collecting if they're doing all five girls. Kinda sucks they keep pushing this stuff back.

Firstly - no offense, but your first point really isn't valid.

You're comparing classics (to larger or lesser extents), to a cool film, that will never have the resonance the others you mention, do. It may have some lingering appeal in the years to come, but come on.. it'll ultimately be forgotten like a lot of the other 'hip' new era limited appeal, limited shelf life type films.

Secondly - I'm a fan of Sucker Punch too! I'm just looking at things objectively.

I think as Zack Snyder becomes a much larger heavy weight in Hollywood, his films will carry alot more value. Sucker Punch may one day be called a modern Blade Runner.
