these pics are making me wanna bring my Fury to uni :( left him and Hawkeye in their boxes at home, gonna bring DX12 to my flat when it comes and then take it home and swap it for each new figure that comes, then by June i'll be home for 2 months and should be getting the last of my p/o's with Hulk & Bane then i will bring both displays together :yess: just hope Coulson makes it in time for that

I just go easy on all those figures, cause they´re so expensive.
But everytime I felt the pain transferring the amount for a HT figure I also always feel the relieve and joy, when I see the figure in hand and have the oppurtunity to take pictures like that.
Love the suitcase/tesseract feature.
Looks damn real in the detolfs with this lighting...

You could save the money on HT, and buy the lights hero prop. It's about 7,000 or so. Sorry, tesseract.

I like the lighting of your pics. Looks like he's really on board a ship.

Sweet pics Timo! :hi5: The lighting really sets the figure off. Looking forward to seeing the completed pose.

Any other Uk based freaks on here who have Nick on order from Forbidden Planet? - ,every time I ring FP for a status check, I get told that he's 'imminent' . I was just wondering if anyone else had contacted FP and been told anything different....Its a juggling act for me to keep enough money in the bank for the good director and I'm not sure How much longer I'll be able to manage it....

First time poster, long time visitor to the board, after seeing your post thought I’d register and chime in.

I currently have this model on pre-order also since middle of June. I e-mailed them once in August and was told it was delayed by their suppliers and was told to keep an eye on the website. Which is pointless as if the item is sold out it doesn’t show a release date. Eventually when it came back into stock the website advised 5th November, So again I e-mailed once the 5th November came and went. I was advised that the item had not been released yet, which was unusual since HK and US have had this for months. I asked them to explain and they advised it’s not so much the supplier rather than hot toys who have not released the item to the UK yet.

To be honest I am not sure when its due, I have heard the 15th November thrown around as a date from other suppliers, I have checked with Modelzone and a private supplier I know and neither of them have it yet also. Perhaps there is some truth in the UK having its own release date, guess we will see. One thing for sure if you pre-order from a UK supplier it seems you could be waiting 2-3 months after release.

Not much help really as neither of us know when its coming just keep getting told soon.

I am starting to suspect FP might not get the order but I will wait, if the private supplier I know gets him first I'm cancelling my order with FP.

It would be really sweet if someone made a setup like this for the 1/6 Nick Fury figure.

I looked for the "Let's vanish" photo but couldn't find it. You get the idea.

Welcome friend.

It never hurts to have a 'Plan B' so go for it. And Nick is a great figure to have. I did not like it at first but now I am glad that I got him at a decent £150.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

If you don't mind me asking, did you import your Nick Fury, ebay etc? Or was it from a UK based supplier?
