When I get my money right to the point where I can add a new pred to my collection I think I'm going to look for an older p2 instead of the newer one. I know Hot Toys has made improvements but I think I still prefer the older model. The head sculpt is a big deal to me. I said I was worried long ago about them re-using that classic head and they did. It was ok for Shadow, not here. Another big deal are the proprotions. Predators have big heads! I know I heard the arguement about it being because you have a human actor with a big mask on but really it makes sense for the preds. Especially when they're wearing bios. It's almost like if you took a human in shorts and a tank top and then put a space mask on him. Anyway thems my opinions. If I had the extra cash to buy the older p2 with an extra head and the newer p2 I'd probably do that as well. Then customize it like P did his. Although if you're going that route I'd probably try to smooth out the bio and get the ultimate p2 figure going.

Yeah thats kind of the way I feel. I miss the posability of the older pred figures most of all. Just when it seemed like the figure was getting old, I would re-pose it, and suddenly it's like new again. Sure, you can get some pretty cool poses out of the new predators, but it's just not the same.

Yeah I def thought about jumping on it. but I only just stumbled on it in the last 14 min of the auction, and I really don't like to impulse buy. I'm def gonna keep an eye out for one in the future now though. All of the predators are down in price I also saw a Scar go for $450 a few weeks back, and who knows it could be going for less now.

I'd say the seller was desperately disappointed at that outcome. The uncertainty of auctions, thats why if I was selling on ebay I'd rather just do BINs

I'd say the seller was desperately disappointed at that outcome. The uncertainty of auctions, thats why if I was selling on ebay I'd rather just do BINs

I'm certain he was to. However, auctions do open a window into what the item is really going for. We all know you can ask for as much as you want for these figures with a BIN, but it doesn't mean you'll get it. Elder has been down consistently over the last few months. I think between the prospects of a re-issue coming out and the fact that the predator market is over saturated these figures will only continue to drop.

I own alot of preds so I'm not exactly thrilled about this, but I am very happy to see that the time of figures jumping 100-500% in price is seemingly coming to an end. I'de like to see more collectors be able to get their grail figures, and not be forced to drool over pictures on here b/c the piece is insanley priced.

I'm conflicted on the matter. As someone whose selling figures out of financial need obviously the more money you can get the better. On the other hand when I'm back in a position to get figures I missed, whatever those may by the time 2014 comes around, obviously the less I'm required to spend the better. We can't have it both ways.

I think the days of people paying over the odds for older figures are coming to an end. I'd love for Hot Toys to knock their new P2 Elder out of the park so that we can say a big **** you to the hoarders who have ten Elders stashed in their closet.

It must just be b/c u have had it so long, maybe you don't appreciate him as much. b/c to me elder looks incredible there. You have a good pose and good lighting.

I got Classic, alas cancelled the other two and have had Falconer in my FS thread.

As long as I was keeping Falconer I would always have wanted Tracker so thats why I'm trying to move him on...because I can't get Tracker. My days of Predator completism are gone. Main preds only at high end.

I was going to cancel but decided to keep it on PO until in hand pics start to show up. Still a long wait.

I'm sure he will let you transfer the money over to another PO. Just don't go the refund route because you will loose money.

i hope that the delay dont go to 2013 and get it before xmas....but i will talk with Loontentoys to change the PO
