My crappy, grainy pic aside, I love this way this guy is looking on my shelf.

i don't know if it's a pose or a camera angle, but it looks so predator 2 here.

I agree P. I think DarthDiggler has really caught the look of Predator 2 in that picture.

Awesome pose buddy. :clap

Thanks guys! :hi5:

When I was thinking about getting this figure, I intended to put him up on one of my upper shelves for a higher viewing angle for that very reason. It seems to have done the business.

It gets me thinking, I do want to see about scoring a left gripping hand from Shadow Pred to do the iconic Eastern Building pose at some point.

Yeah having him at a height does wonders for the City Hunter. I had no luck looking for a Shadow Preds left hand. Although I think dedguy recommended reheating a hand so that he could hold the spear with the left hand.

I'm going to do that mod and the reheating the armour mod to him soon.

Throwing the smart disc:

Ready to throw the spear to Harrigan on roof top:

Left hand had been chopped off:

This head had been stored and might use it to custom something in future:

2 of my most favorite HT Predator figures now:

The old City Hunter head was repainted by Uruk's Customs & Figure Painting, will commissioning him again in future for some custom projects.

Uruk is very talented repainter.

Are you sure it's the netting? The shoulder only has limited upwards movement unless you also rotate it. I haven't noticed the netting restricting at all… but then again I have also taken mine apart a few times.

Looks like maybe it's stuck under the body armor. See if you can't pull the body armor up some. It's not glued down to the body or anything, you should just be able to lift it up. Might need to apply a blow drier or something first if it's particularly stiff.

The only things I'd worry about breaking would be the smart disc which is fairly delicate or the left arm gauntlet which is glued on or something. The rest of the armor is all pretty forgiving and made from some sort of vinyl or other soft-ish and fairly tough material.

Looking forward to getting this guy sometime soon, the 1/4 neca City Hunter I bought just doesn't do it for me, sure it's more accurate but it poses poorly and only looks decent from a distance.

I had a look at my Predator last night. I'm still not sure how I can give the netting more slack around the armpit. I would have to remove the armour to see what's going on underneath, but the upper body armour looks like it's not only tied, but glued as well to prevent it from being removed. I don't think I want to mess with it.

I saw from other pics that there is supposed to be articulation in the ankles. I thought there wasn't because I couldn't get those feet to move besides turning side to side. It turns out that the ankle pegs were just really stiff. I got them to loosen up so I can do some more dynamic posing. Learn something new everyday.

I have to say that although I've owned this since February, it continues to amaze me. It has great shelf presence.

praise TSANG!!!!!!!
he turned action figures into cheap rubber statues.

hi ,

just wanted to show a few things I repainted on my city hunter.
I am sorry but I felt disappointed with this figure in general . But I still like it a lot . I just felt that some areas could have been improved such as the medikit - it feels cheap and nasty and constantly falls off. The helmet lenses should be flat black not gloss. etc etc .

I repainted my helmet and redid the lenses and I also repainted the crown and the entire mouth interior & teeth. He looks way better now, only things I need are the tsang custom mask and laser cannon.
