This new sculpt looks incredible. Is there an exact date published or is it still Q4 2012? I'm glad I've held out on buying the other City Hunters.

kinda agree. didn't like the face in the movie, this face, however, not accurate but looks much better than the original imo

Oh come on guys, maybe they were being ironic when they said the new sculpt looks incredible, such sense of humour... :wave

I think there saying its a good predator sculpt but it was the first thing i notice when they reveiled it though, sad to say

Maybe they meant it looks cool and detailed, it's just not P2. Joseph Tsang is pretty good at hurling clay, we know that much. He just can't be bothered to look at decent reference while he does it.

Or maybe he does and he just sticks two fingers up at it and says "____ you Predator fans!"

Highly unlikely. It's obvious he enjoys sculpting this stuff, he simply isn't knowledgeable enough regarding the designs to get them right.

well the product looks like what greygoose said, so what's the difference where exactly he takes it out of.

he simply isn't knowledgeable enough regarding the designs to get them right.
his shoulders don't move / go up, his legs break, his armor looks like kids first attempt in sculpting, his bodies aren't supposed to take any poses, and he never checks if all parts can be put together, such as this new predator's right arm unable to stay down, always sticking to the side.
sure, only designs are his weak point, while being lazy and handless is a nature fault.

and by the way. IF he put the knee pieces on skin, without holding bands, it means he checked the movie design.
but nevertheless he sculpted what His Artist Majesty wished.

Maybe it's a case of that he just isn't capable of sculpting an accurate Predator. I'm not sure what human sculpts he has done and how good they are but it might just be that he doesn't have the skills to sculpt movie monsters accurately based on source material; therefore it would be his employers fault and not his for giving him this license.:dunno
