Welp, I did it. Leather cord for the belt, tried to go more movie-accurate with how it was tied. I think it can use another loop around the waist, but it's closer than it's ever been.

Also replaced the sash with Guardian's and hooked up the City Hunter bone pouch to it. Might redo that with the thin cord too.

A 1/6 Predator figure was a grail figure for me but I could never decide which one. But when I saw this discounted I couldn’t help it. Very happy with it and still in the early stages of accessories, how to pose etc but I’m very happy with it so far.

Sadly a couple of the dreads are damaged, I’m guessing from previous owner misuse, but it’s a shame. Beautiful figure otherwise.

Found the Elder new in a toy store this week, and he’s a beaut as well. Aside from the single joints and lack of proper hands, it would be hard to belive their as old as they are

I was hoping Hot Toys will release City Hunter Predator 3.0 but after looking at the photo from Tokyo Comic Con 2024, the card in front of City Hunter figure says 'Soldout' so it seems the 2.0 figure was just for display with the new upcoming Alien & Predator figures.

2.0 has always needed a more accurate hs. 1.0 had a better sculpt. Aside from the likeness on the head and helmet I don't think there's a lot they could improve on.
But give me a better hs with them rollin' eyeballs and I'll slap money down real quick.

Yes. I forgot I dry brushed a lot of the armor on my city hunter and completely repainted the helmet.

I'm bringing back this comparison, which was made 10 years ago when City Hunter 2.0 was announced, we can clearly see that the first version is better in the sculpture :

I’m pretty sure it’s the same deal with the Jungle Hunter Predator and the Classic Predator. The Jungle Hunter is clearly outdated but was still more accurate
