Man that hood they added looks like it's for a rain jacket.. Gonna have to wait and see how that looks in hand.. That said, it looks like they did correct the gun (awesome!), and possibly altered his head sculpt. Very interesting, I can't wait.

it looks to be about the same size, just in a more direct/flat angle where the other was turned a bit.

Hood looks great! And come on guys, the only reason THIS is the first production pic is because of the added hood and corrected chitauri weapon. Why else would they put that in there?!

That was kinda my thought too. I am playing around with the pics in photoshop- using the original pics and sizing the gun to match the OMG preview.... and it really does seem like the new version is bigger...

That is them with the guns matched up in size as best I can by layering them on top of each other and changing the opacity. Keep in mind that Cap is turned slightly in the old pic, but his shoulders seem straight to the camera in the new.

I admit I could totally be wrong, but it definitely looks bigger to me.
