So that whole waiting until Christmas idea lasted for about 15 minutes last night. Patience is not one of my virtues...

Cap ROCKS! He looks great with his Avengers brethren. I realize it might be his "newness" talking, but out of the 4 Avengers releases so far, he is looking like my fav. Absolutely can't wait to do a photo shoot with him this weekend!

Surprised I received mine a day earlier and I'm totally blown away with how how much more beautiful this figure is in person. Vibrant colors that just pop and look awesome. Nice change of pace after buying a few Batman characters.

Finally got a chance to open up my Captain America. Easily one of my new favorites.

Got him wit the rest of my Marvel collection. Need to make more time so that I can set up my new Detolf case. It's getting crowded in there.

Oh the hood is a pain in the ASS to apply. I broke one of the clips while trying to fasten it.

Can't wait to see what Elvis adds on to this awesome figure.

Oh yeah!...

The company I work for sells collectible supplies, including doll stands of various sizes. I got tired of disembodied heads sitting around, so I took one into work and found one that would clip around the neck to display them separately. The stand I use is linked below (though I did have to bend it out with my fingers a little to fit around the neck... but that is super easy to do). Definitely better than having them roll around on the shelf!

I broke one too! So frustrating. But at least it was one of the side ones so it can still be tucked in perfectly with a little work and patience. I actually like the hood. It looks really cool in certain poses. I know some don't think it's in scale but I don't think that's really noticeable.

Got mine finally set-up. I'm really impressed with this figure. I was quite surprised at how poseable he is considering how tight the costume is.

I left him in a pretty basic pose.

And that damm Jack Sparrow just had to get in the action
