Just outa the box. Brilliant figure. The lack of ankle articulation is the only downside I can see so far.

How does his unmasked face look up close? Would it benefit from a repaint?

I think the unmasked headsculpt looks great - just as solid as any other HT headsculpt. I wouldn't dare touch it with a paintbrush.

Well, after walking around Graceland over most of the week end, my Cap:A finally landed at Stansted Airport in the UK at 3:24pm yesterday afternoon. He is now in "International Clearance" so I assume that he will be done there at some time today, and out for delivery tomorrow as stated on my notification.

So that whole waiting until Christmas idea lasted for about 15 minutes last night. Patience is not one of my virtues...

Cap ROCKS! He looks great with his Avengers brethren. I realize it might be his "newness" talking, but out of the 4 Avengers releases so far, he is looking like my fav. Absolutely can't wait to do a photo shoot with him this weekend!

So far it looks as if ClipperKing had the only chest star issue. It also looks as if the "A" isn't painted on this head, but instead indented a bit. Hopefully that helps avoid the crooked issues that TFA CA suffered from.

And just like that, he appears a full day early. Have not had time to look too closely at him, but his chest star is centred perfectly, the portrait head sculpt is better in hand than in photos.
