And I have to say, this one REALLY impressed me!

Hot Toys made a sweet little piece of art here, the figure is just perfect, from the colors to the acessories, It´s everything just... Well, perfect :)

The unmasked HS is so impressive that made me use it on the TFA version... With the BD Shield, I must say it looked REALLY nice...

BBTS has Cap listed as in stock and my preorder with them is processing! Excited!

Hope the people who are still waiting for Cap get him soon.

Only problem I have is the suit is a tad more restrictive in the shoulder area than I expected, but I can't wait to pose him and Loki fighting in the middle of my Avengers display.

thought I'd share some pics...

i've also found that tucking in the hood instead of buttoning it keeps it on there really tight. Avoid breaking those plastic nubs.

I was one the fence with this one, but the in hand pics look great. I picked one up off eBay on Monday, should be coming soon. I like that it comes with a battle damaged shield.

Nice pics, centcom.

There is always room for the 'hero walk' pose. I like the 'hero walk' actually...it has that "YES!!! Get in there my son! :yess:" feel about it. If Mike B had directed it, it would have been in ultra SloMo with explosions and gunfire going off behind them! :lol

I would love if Mr. Bay did every hero walk in the history of the universe...because we all need our heroes walking into shot with explosions and stuff going on at the back

I finally opened mine yesterday. The star is ever-so-slightly off on mine, but not skewed enough to worry much about for me at least. I wouldn't have even noticed if not for the video review.

I like it about as much as I thought I would - the costume is great, I love the paint job on the unmasked head, the shields are awesome. I don't think the alien gun is as cheap as others are saying, the paint job is nice on it too, but I have no interest in displaying it, so it's a nonfactor really. But it does seem fairly lightweight compared to other Hot Toys accessories.

The negatives are interesting to me though for a Hot Toys figure. The hood was extremely difficult to put on, and the little snaps feel cheap and fragile. Metal would have been a much better choice there. And the gloves and boots seem early 2000's Sideshow-quality to me. The sculpts seem soft, and the paint isn't 100%, which surprised me coming from HT.

I personally would have thrown out the gun and dedicated those funds to metal hood snaps, better detailing on the hands and boots, and Quality Control on those stars. It doesn't BOTHER me, honest, but I kindof expect more from Hot Toys.

I guess at the end of the day what I'm saying is that, aside from the head, this could very well have been a Sideshow release and I wouldn't have noticed much difference. The star, snaps, gun, hands, and feet don't live up to my experience, and for that, I can't give it full stars. I'm glad I bought it, but this is the first time I opened a HT product and didn't quite feel I got my money's worth. Just my two cents.

I'm not a huge fan of the human face sculpt, but it's not the worst thing I've ever seen. I know for sure I wont be putting it on him. Selling it might happen in the near future.

He's amazing! I love everything about him. Here's my amazingly cruddy photo.
