I got this for Christmas. Nice fig, but i wish they could've made the pants come up a bit more, because now everytime I move his legs forward you can can see his butt X(

Otherwise, great figure!!! I don't think the headsculpt is as good as the one on the CA:TFA figure, but the outfit and articulation (and accessories!) are stellar

Now that I have one in front of me, I am actually getting to like the maskless sculpt. I can vouchsafe for the fact that mega-close-ups do no do anything any favours. In hand it looks pretty good.

Mine came today, really like everything about him, the Chitauri gun, the maskless headsculpt etc..

But to be honest I think he looks the best just with the mask on and the battle damaged shield in a neutral pose.

I don't want to come off like a hater but was anyone disappointed by how dark the blue of the uniform was once they had it in hand? I see so many pics online where the blue just pops and looks great, it was kind of jarring to see how muted it is under normal conditions. I'm sure Hot Toys did their due diligence and the blue is exactly the same shade of the practical costume, it just doesn't look the same to the naked eye. This was my first HT, so I'm new to the whole 'internet pics vs. reality in hand' thing.

Agreed in person (and even in some pics) it looks almost like a deep purple, but I found some screenshots from the movie with the costume in dark and it looked pretty accurate. This costume is obviously a different material from whatever they used in the film so it's going to likely reflect the colors a bit differently

I just got this figure a few days ago and I really like him, its a solid figure and I really like the suit, complex and well built. I also like the contrast of colors, from a distance the red, white and silver stands out, really captures the eye. The shoulders seem a bit wide, but I can easily overlook that with all the pluses this figure has. I have severely reduced my toy spending and there is ZERO buyers remorse on Cap!!!
