oh I see it now! :clap

One thing's for sure; this is hands-down the best Tom Cruise-as-a-blonde-vampire-wearing-a-Captain-America-costume figure ever made!

Let's get this thread back on topic.
As a portrait artist, the thing that stands out most to me with the unmasked head is definitely the mouth, specifically the way his over-bite is sculpted. A lot of people do have their top teeth falling over their bottom teeth when their mouth is closed. And when the bottom lip opens to show that, it is sculpted that way; but only from the front. The side view makes it look like his lower jaw is sticking out instead. That can't happen. I think if it were corrected, that might help his expression some. But I agree with others that his eyes don't fully match the expression his mouth is making.
I really like this new sculptor KA Kim, especially her Peter Parker. But Cap's expression needs a little work.

I'm actually enjoying being on the other end of the spoiler threat for a change.

Hopefully some of the Americans can remember that next time they are openly discussing things that haven't been shown overseas. Of course past history shows that hypocrisy knows no bounds.

I'll be honest it really is something I never even considered before b/c no movie I was really into has ever been released overseas first. If this is going to become a trend I am going to need to learn how to protect myself better from spoilers which probably means staying away from this site for a little while.

Damn. HT did it again. HS aside (mine will be displayed with masked), this looks great in actual photos. I have room in my heart for both HT CAs. :peace

I hope they don't mess with the masked HS, though.

I just want to get my hands on the BD shield so my TFA:CA can have it.

That last pic of CA standing there looks outstanding! Wow. Pics make the difference.

Pure awesomeness !!! :panic:

Back from the movie premiere and look what I've got! I pick Thor and Ironman 3D glasses and they look sooo cool! :panic:

The Avengers over size logo thing actually light up! Freaking cool also, hell yeah! :panic:

The movie .... hmmm .... they should spend more time in the cutting room. :panic:

The eye level shot of the Evans sculpt looks much better also, not that I didn't like it before.

I do agree that the eye-line photo does make the sculpt look better, but good grief, does that mean that I can only look at this figure (with that head on) from this one, up close, awkward angle?

Where is the flexibility of that? From any other direction...ie, any other position you can possibly put him in, that is not that one close-up, this is still going to look off.

I am not unappreciative, it's a great idea to have an alternative head, and I can see that the rest of the face is great for Evans, but the mouth is off. Once you've seen it, you cannot 'un-see' it.
