I still can't wrap my head around how that useless gun got included with the figure. Hot Toys probably saw a production picture of him holding it and thought it was something important lol

That said, they should give BW that stick/spear though, as she's seen using that weapon quite a lot during the final battle.

This figure is growing on me but why the high price for this? Even Thor is cheaper.

Sometimes I think you guys just bash on the figures to have something to do and because it's more fun... then you buy the thing any way. Am I right?

Anyway, I've actually really come around to liking this figure despite being left a little cold originlally. Despite the problems with the helmet area (which are all from the design) I think the rest of it is incredibly solid and detailed. I love all different joins and things represented here, and the silver accents really work well.

I'm a little nervous about how the unmasked head will look in production though I like the idea of it. I will probably do what many people have said and given the non-helmet to the FA version. We'll see. I do think it looks good on this costume. The BD shiled is definitely going to the FA Cap, though.

I still think the Chitauri weapon is WAY cooler than some dumb old machine gun you can replicate by buying a gun from elsewhere. My only hope is that the blue parts might be cast in translucent blue in production rather than painted blue.

All in all, I'm really happy with every Avengers figure we've gotten. I know it's just sort of the mode of the board to hate the head sculpt, bash on the the details, and so on and so forth. I get that. But I think all in all this is an incredibly impressive line-up of figures and is pretty much unparalleled as far as providing a full line-up for a movie. That's really exciting.

I like him. Probably will never use the Alien weapon or Evans sculpt, though.

I am not going to use the Evan's sculpt or the alien weapon..I think the figure otherwise is solid (I have no problem with the weapon either). Cap in general doesnt carry a weapon around in Avengers anyway..its all about the shield.

Cuz the new Thor fig looks like crap and this CAP fig (w/o taking into account 2 shields & 2 heads) looks like EPICWIN
