I'm hoping the rescue version has a superb HS as that is what I'd prefer on this figure. I think the clenched teeth looked would go well with the rescue version too. The addition of the Chitauri weapon is interesting, but I like it.

Thanks! That seems like it might be a tough one to track down in 1/6 scale, but I'll be keeping my eye out for it. It would be appropriate given the unmasked HS we're getting.

That rifle is what is used in The Expendables so you could track down a Barney Ross or wait until the figures from the new film come out.

Thanks I just ebay'd it. Too bad it's missing the scope and the handle is different. I might just wait and see if Hot Toys makes a version that is more accurate to the Avengers movie with one of their other Expendables figures. I mean, I suppose it shouldn't be a big deal, but I mean, with Hot Toys I'm going for the best and most accurate right? lol.

Luckily I have Ross and he looks just as cool with his two sidearms... So looks like my Cap just got himself a gun

I'm still betting we'll get the 'neutral' Chris Evans Cap sculpt with the USO Cap, so it'll be cool to have this version with a little more 'determination' as well.

Yeah the Rescue Cap figure has a neutral expression, at least the magazine preview did. No idea about USO Cap, but I'm guess I'm smile. Though he'll be wearing the Golden Age mask so the smiling face won't do us head swappers much good.

I still think both of these head sculpts came out great, I just want a neutral expression unmasked head more than a grinning one.

I think most people will agree that the likeness is fine, but the expression is just too odd. I'm all for something different than the boring expressions we usually get from most figures, but Cap wasn't one of the characters that warranted a different expression imo.

That's something that bugs me about the FA version as well, the one gun hand has the trigger finger extended all the way out. It's really not logical since you always keep your finger on the trigger. So I guess I'm not too worried at this point that Cap doesn't have the right hands for a gun, just as long as I can have him hold on and make it look decent. I agree, leaving this gun out, but giving him the second head sculpt they did doesn't make make sense to me. It just seemed like a given. However, I like what they did with him overall so what do I really have to complain about?

I agree, I do NOT see Evans in the least bit other than the hair in this. Not sure what the F people are seeing here thinking its close. I think a side by side picture comparison would make anyone realize the mouth and eyes are way off.
