Yes, I see what you are saying very clearly actually. That expression is just not right either. There was a picture on this thread a good few pages back now (sorry, I don't recall who posted it now), that was of Mr. Evans with hard-as-nails-poker-face type look on him....that would have been perfect for the open face sculpt.
It would not tke much to make this a lot better, just remove some of the puffyness from around his mouth. He looks like Donatella Versace...

Cap looks like the "before" pict, before that is he took the serum and vita rays.
