HT Avengers at SDCC was a huge let down, even without Hulk they could of made a show stealing display of all the Avengers together looking bad ass, instead they have Loki(Loki looked awesome by the way)on a pedestal in the middle with all the other figures in horrendous poses scattered about, there was no wow factor.

I mostly blame the people who posed them.

I, too, was looking forward to a team shot. Guess I'll have to wait until they're on my shelf.

I think that chitauri weapon Cap is holding is going to be in a short film on the Avengers DVD called item 47

I think its just another example of the quality going downhill. No chat, no attention to detail or thought put into poses

The only thing I can think of is that maybe they arrived late and everything had to be rush assembled. :dunno

That could well be. I just don't know why, as the event went on, that someone working the booth couldn't go, "You know, that figure there looks really dumb, his chestplate is all over the place. Here, let me fix his costume" and take the figure and reassemble, and pose him right. THEN PUT HIM BACK IN THE DISPLAY.

I could NOT just sit by and let a favorite character of mine stand there looking bad. no! I'd have to fix him. That is just me.

Its not rocket science. All it takes is a little care about the product - or even, about the character! And a little eye for detail. Voila, fixed!

It speaks well for the quality of HT's products that the figures looked as good as they did, costume pieces askew and poses straight out of the pit of Hell. If I were HT management I would be furious at how my product had been handled, at this most important of shows.

Couldn't have said it better myself. :exactly:

This one did turn out nicely.
I'm not too keen on the open mouth sculpt though. The one where he is biting down on his teeth.
