Sorry, couldn't resist posting my MMS185 Avengers Mark VII in the official thread as well. It is slightly modded though :)

Lol, being close to fifty isn't all it's cracked up to be :rotfl

Cheers!

I'll be turning 44 in January. Getting there myself. :monkey1

it's simple really...just pull the left leg out of the socket, bend it to that angle and slightly attach it back, it won't go in 100% but at different angles it looks good

the fist pound hand hides the fault

Sounds a little scary there but I may give it a shot. Thanks Ed. I may ask my Hulk for assistance with that.

That is a sweet flight stand, may I ask how did you do that? I've been meaning to make a big diorama for my avengers.

was actually pretty simple.

one 1/2" x 12" acrylic rod from amazon $4.20
two $0.79 6x6 sandstone tiles from home depot
one old sock with a hole in it!
some old black spray paint and grey primer
hot glue gun

drilled out the hole w/ a smaller drill bit and worked up 2 or 3 sizes to a 1/2" bit to keep the hole smooth.

cut the sock in a square to cover the bottom of the tile and hot glued in place.

took a hammer and beat the piss outta the 2nd tile! to smooth it all out, i put the chunks in a leftover 2 liter bottle. i cut a hole and dropped them all in. put some water in and shook the hell out of it for a few minutes to smooth them all out. washed them off and dried them and then hit them from various angles and distances with the 2 paints to give a bunch of contrast.

the rest is creative rock placement and a drop of glue to hold in place!

took the rod and had a super small drill bit. i drilled a tiny hole thru at the very top about 1/4" down. then jam the rod in the rock base. get some fishing line and loop thru the hole and go around the figure until you get the right amount to get him where you want him... tie a knot and bammmmmo..... best $5 flight stand a man could ask for!
