I try to limit mine to 2 per shelf as well, I just love the overall look of the display case this way as I think it highlights the select figures you have displayed best.
As collections grow over time this becomes increasingly hard to do, especially for us IM collectors, so some Detolfs get 3 figures per shelf and so on.
I'd love to keep adding Detolfs so I could adhere to a 2-per-shelf display but I'm running out of room having 6 already.

Damn.. Your collection must be crazy. But yeah, 2 figures per shelf is perfect especially if you're using a regular hot toys 1/6 stand.

Some shelves I have 3 figures atm, it's just preference really. Plenty of others have 5 or 6 per shelf and make it look good like Username for example.

It's Dioder lighting from Ikea. Two full sets per detolf, for a total of twelve sets. All controlled by remote.

Yes it's a custom.
HT Caucasian female head with a haircut, Angelica body, Reeve boots, Flirty Girl leotard, Alice hands, a sewn-on HT Routh 2-in-1 cape, and i made the signage myself with coloured sticky vinyl.
