Not really much to say about the figure in hand tbh as its pretty much what you see is what you get; Obviously pleased to have him, the tailoring on the suit is what we've come to expect from Hot Toys as of late (as in its easily up there with the awesome work they've done on their Avengers line), straight out of the box he's a little lacking but get those clawed hands on him and its another story 
Having not owned the first figure I don't know if the claws are different but on this they certainly feel metal (like the blade on the Classic Pred), the Sentinel base is like a big bit of rubbery plastic but it does add to the overall presence of the figure when on display
I think another set of clawed hands should of been provided, maybe with open palms instead of fists but other than that I'm happy with the package, probably not a figure you need to rush out and buy straight away like I have but with all the overbearing Ironman stuff going in with Hot Toys I'm pleased to have something different to look at and talk about

The clawed fists are my favorite part of this figure. I just really like the glove sculpt.
As far as open palms with claws out, I dont think that ever happened in the movies. I also want to say the comics changed it so physically he cant pop his claws unless hes making a fist, but im not 100% on that one.

Did you get this from SSC or off of e-bay? I'm trying to gauge when AE will have it.

Damn right. It literally looks like a glove on the hand and not just a hand painted black.
Having had him for 24 hours now he really is an awesome figure, I'd love to see the others made now. Also have high hopes for any possible Logan figure from The Wolverine film
EDIT: hair sculpt is possibly the best of any figure I own, only really rivalled by the Blitzway Carlito

It's Wolverine.....the only character I order upon release otherwise, I wait.
Tony Cheung had it $40 over retail shipped and it arrived less than a week. Totally stoked, I cannot wait for the weekend
