Someone stated earlier that this Scar Pred craps all over the old snap kit preds...and they are CORRECT!!! The old preds may have been cool when they came out, but compared to today's standards the proportions of the old ones were all off, they had huge noggins compared to their teeny bodies, the articulation showed horribly...I for one am SO glad to get this update and I hope they do the same to Celtic, Chopper and Wolf bc I'll buy em all!! :lecture

How soon do you guys reckon we'll see Scar's pals? They knocked out the Avengers in very quick succession and those were all completely different characters. With these, just switch out the helmets, take the ab armor out, change the feet (is it movie-accurate to make the feet of some spikey and the others dull, or are they just sticking to what they did with the first versions?), take away a couple weapons, add a couple new ones, and bingo. You've got a different character.

Easy Grasshopper, you will give NOVA fits:lol

I wouldn't be suprised if they release these out fairly quick as they have a lot of preds to pump out lol.

Maybe one per month, meaning we'd get the whole trio preordered by the end of February. Or even sooner; Hot Toys could very well be making up for their lack of Predator news with these guys, and because of how easy it is to make the others, they picked a very good movie to start with.

Part of me would love to see Celtic and Chopper come out ASAP, but there's just so much on my list...so much to buy..so little money to buy it with... :lol

I do hope they make them at some point though, and perhaps even redo the Elder and Ancients.

This and Wolf were my very two first Hot Toys figures and what got me into the 1/6th world. There's no way I'm missing out on. This better version. Bring him on:rock

well in one guys customization thread (forgot the name of him) he made it to where the celtic armor could be detached so it was more movie accurate. Different bio's of course. and considering faces where never shown they might not even make them removable. The choppers blades would be a weapon exchange and the celtic Net he shoots. making the bio's like TD makes them would be a huge plus. or possibly a damaged battle version bio fro scar. thats about everything I can think of.:peace

This thing just crossed my mind:

Might be jumping the gun here, but it's likely that HT might handle the Ancients (if they even make them) as exclusives. The special version would be available from Sideshow at SDCC and the Asia version during the Asian toy fairs. Sort of a throwback to the original line.

Then again, I'm not too interested in them. Give me the trio and I'm good. Even a new Elder from this movie will be a hard sell if they'll eventually remake the one from P2.

Damnit! Why'd you guys have to point that out!? The dreds DO need to be longer! Ahh I was stoked about this when I found out today up until now. I'll probably still order at least 2 but now that you mention it the dreds do look like they need to be longer.

they can change that. it's 5 months out.

Eh... they usually don't -- and they've had far bigger likeness issues than this with Predator figures.

Anyone else thinking the thighs look a little too long? I'm worried they used the Classic/Shadow torso and just added bigger thighs, which presents a huge proportion issue. If they were trying to boost the height, they should've done a slightly longer torso instead. It would look less-obvious and would also make the thigh armor sit where it's supposed to.

The price on this is ok. I'm gonna go order this later today at Toy Hunters.

Considering the price they are asking for the DX13, i was expecting the worse for this one. Luckily... not the case.
