my God, this figure is beautiful and a must buy for me. the HS is fantastic and also the body isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. this has got me excited for Zod, Faora and Jor El.

Solution

One of the few times I'd say the Premium Format looks better than the HT figure. (Until HT fix the body, which im sure they will.)

Yeah its looking like Premium Format or fail for me.

Really looks like an excellent figure. I wish I had liked the movie when I saw it last night, but I didn't, so this is a pass for me.

Even Cavil said that he got really lean for the shirtless stuff then started bulking up for the suit stuff. it's a process so obviously some pics he looks buff and other's he's sill kind of lean

The real suit has a fake sculpted musculature underneath, thats not Cavills shape...so he probably didn't need to put on too much weight.

I have to say I think the body on this looks hilariously ********.

Everything else is great.

i hope you're joking about the price.

The $380 is a reference to the premium format version not this MMS.

That release date too,just ended it for me.
Way to far off. Might be in time for the Blu-Ray release though.

Looks good. Agreed about the body. Just slim him down a bit. I have to really love the movie if I'm going to drop 3 digit $$$ on a collectible. I'll find out tonight.

Good thing is, there's lots of choice for MOS Superman.

And strangely all are intrepretting him differently.

Sideshow has a very clean suit and the detailing is more silver than the metallic blue on most others (gauntlets, waist ect)

DC collectibles have a lousy HS but the costume and proportion is damn near perfect.

Hot Toys have a damn near perfect HS but the body is Mr Stay Puff marshmallow arms and the cape is far to bright.

Kotobukiya have a more stylised comic book body shape and a great looking costume

I think the upper torso is fine. Its just the hips and thighs that are the problem, makes it look like he has a big butt. (hence the cape )

The new Roadblock figure is $220 with more accessories. This should be priced between $200-$230. And i think they would be pushing a lot of good will making him more than Roadblock.

Yeah, but Supes is more of an icon and I bet that's what they're banking on.
