Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Wow, excellent pose Barry.
One thing I like about your ttm20 body is that it's more accurate as to Cavill's body. In the scene when he robs a bloke's clothes from the car you can clearly see his massive chest popping out and wobbling, but with the suit on his chest was flattened and he looked less bulky as the nature of the tightness if the suit on his body and thighs.

I really want to purchase a loose suit as I too have a spare ttm20 body and convert it. But having said that is that my biggest and main worry is that once I go ahead with it and then......buy the dark world Thor figure when it comes out, I do not know what to expect (if the new Thor figure will be new tall height or not?) because (if yes) that would mean my Superman will be a shorty compared to him and that is unacceptable.

How is your ttm20 Superman size compared to Avengers Thor?

Thanks a lot. Superman is just a millimetre or so taller. But Thor's legs have a slight bend, so i'd say they are the same.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I strolled away from this thread for about a dozen pages, and now that I'm caught up all I can say is, "Wow, y'all are some crazy bishes!" :lol

Gonna finally open mine this weekend. haha

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I am loving this figure more and more, every-time I walk past it. The cape mod made such a difference, even with the stock cape still attached.may try to get Tony Mei's cape pleated. That is the main reason why I kept the cape stock.

Sorry Barry, that body is way too stumpy and over bulky. Just my opinion of course! I think this is one of the few occasions that HT got a really good proportional body, out of scale sure, but it looks excellent stock (after fixing the cape/neck).
Nice pics and cape posing though!

That looks great. Amazing proportions IMO.

Those look very nice. They will go great with the HT figs, if that is what you plan on doing with them.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

They look slick.

Thanks. I can't wait to get my hands on them to start casting them.

That's the plan. 175mm across, and perfect to put a crotch grabber stand on.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Just got a pic of the Masters for the MOS base and the ZOD one back from my friend with the laser cutter.

How big is this?
I would be interested if this would be about the same size as a regular True type stand.
I prefer something that wont take up too much space.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I love how no light peeks through the bottom of the cape with the short pegs.

:rock Lookin sweet!

Thanks. Shouldn't be too long till i have them.

Nice work as always Bar!

Thanks. It was all done by my friend Matt. I told him what i wanted and he got his laser cutter working.

Cool looking display. But who is that Superman in the rear right corner?

Just a bash of my own using the suit from a DCD 13" Superman with a MOS symbol, on a TTM20, with Reeve boots, Cavill fists and the head of a Dam Toys Ryan Watson GLINT figure with an added curl on his hair. This is the head:

I like it! Now bring on Zod too! :rock

Yeah. I am hoping to have these cast and ready to go in time for Zod's release.

I have had them made especially for the HT MOS owner who doesn't need that gigantic flight stand and would rather have a waist grabber, but in keeping with the style of the original base.
175mm across if you have a ruler handy. It's bigger than a HT oval stand, but not *as* big as the flight stand. Plenty of room for three in a Detolf shelf, with room to spare.

I'm not a fan of short pegs on this (personally, I think it makes his legs too chunky) but that is a beautiful pic man. :clap
