So where is the cheapest place to get this right now? Missed out on the POing last week due to being on vacation and finally saw the film.

Not the cheapest, but you didn't miss out on the PO...it's still available from Sideshow.

I just wanna reiterate...

I can't believe this guy is priced at $180 or less at some places. That's old school HT pricing!

Please let this be a sign of things to come in the future.

Uh, it comes with little to no accessories, so yes shape of things to come indeed. :( (ok the 1:1 Kryptonian key is cool)

True...but hey man, it could've been a lot worse. And you know it.

I predicted a separate heat vision headsculpt, perhaps a suit for him as Clark, ANYTHING to justify the now-normal $300 price for a figure that HT has been edging towards.
I am VERY glad it didn't go that way.
But i feel that ANY Jor El figure in either his ceremonial robes or battle armour, will edge closer to $250, simply because it's more complex than Superman.
And for the record, i am very glad to have been proven wrong about the price.

I honestly thought this figure was gonna hover above the $210-230 range. Like you, I too am glad to have been proven wrong.

Totally. With luck this one will hover around(No pun intended) so everyone who wants one can get one. Perhaps they are leaving the price low to entice higher sales.

It would be nice if we saw their prices begin to creep down a little. They could probably sell more figures that way. Lower price points would entice some with on the fence releases.

A lot of people are forgetting the lower price could also be a result of the figure being MMS200.
If Jor-El is $280, we will know even the price of Superman was a free gift...

Re: Hot Toys MMS200 - Man of Steel: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

It's not really that cheap, it just feels it due to the recent $300+ IM3 figures and robocop figures

Re: Hot Toys MMS200 - Man of Steel: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Some photoshop, change the body proportion and toned down blue color of his suit. And everything looks perfect for me:panic:

I like it! Nice work. I always thought the costume was a little too light.

That's the hardest part. Keeping your interest in the figure while you wait. :impatient:

Not me! Loved the film! Still wish it was coming SOONER!

While I agree with the price of Jor-El being much higher, I think it will be because of the armor. Not a 200th figure discount.

Thats why I think Superman was first. The cheapest of the lot.

If they don't do Jor-El's armor(which i don't see them doing) I think he may come in cheaper than Superman. Without the armor all he has are some extra hands, and the gun he used. They could make his robot assistant too I guess. Or make it the SS exclusive. Plus even with a Crowe sculpt, he's not a guaranteed seller. I think Zod and Faora:pray: end up being the most expensive figs in the series.
